Very helpful and friendly staff. Good location for visiting the Medina. Very nice Riad atmosphere. We booked "Riad Catalina" but we got a room in the "Dar Catalina", which is another house in the street around the corner at 100 m distance from the riad. So we could not enjoy the roof terras and garden and the wireless internet of... More

Great location just 10 mins walk from the mosque and the main square. I'd recommend that you e-mail the hotel to get picked up at the airport (costs 20 EUR) well worth it to avoid the hassle with the taxi drivers at the airport. It would also be difficult to find the riad for the first time. We had one... More

We (4 ladies of varying ages) have just returned from our lovely stay at Riad Catalina. Unfortunately one of our party was less able than the rest and we hadn't thought about stairs. Our room was on the 2nd floor, which initially was a bit of a problem. Thankfully, Nadia on reception was quick to notice this and next day... More

A beautiful friendly peaceful Riad just a few steps from the hustle and bustle. E mailed them and they arranged airport pick up for 20 Eruos - well worth it. Hotel staff met us at the taxi drop off and carried bags down the passage way to the Riad. Had room 307 which has it's own private terrace - well... More

We stayed at the nearby dar catalina, which was cheaper than the main riad and more intimate. We had access to the lovely courtyard & rooftop pool, which we made use of in the hot afternoons when everything shut down. The service was attentive & welcoming. The first night in our top-floor room, the air conditioner wasn't powerful enough to... More

stayed here at the slightly cheaper dar catalina which is a converted house associated with the riad about 50 metres away. we needed guaranteed air conditioning. the service at the riad was superb and we were able to use all the facilities. the rooms at the dar were comfortable and well priced with modern, well-designed bathrooms. we didn't eat there... Riad Catalina is a beautiful riad, decorated in typical Moorish style with mosaics and drapes. It is in the middle of a maze (which would be impossible to find without a guide) and provides sanctuary from the chaos around! We were staying here in April and were due to fly home the day the ash cloud hit. The staff were... More

A great little Riad with very friendly staff in a loverly setting. The roof top pool area is an ideal place to chill for a couple of hrs after a day in the souks so your ready for a night in the square. Marrakech is a great experience and a must for all thase with a little adventure in them.

My wife and I are Kiwi's. We stayed at the Riad Catalina for 3 days. It was very central to all the action. The staff were great and very helpful as were the meals. The Riad was very clean and extremely comfortable we loved the decor. It was a haven of peace and tranquility after the hustle and bustle of... More
