Pros -Location -Staff -Value for money -Communal areas (courtyard, lounge, terrace) Cons -Food -Price of alcohol -Pool is for splashing not swimming. This is a lovely guesthouse located just 4 minutes walk away from the main square, Jemaa el-F'na. I highly recommend it. The guesthouse is ideally located only minutes from souks and main square. The guesthouse may be difficult... More

I went for 3 days/nights late September 2013 and this place was perfect. We wanted to do it on a budget and I ended up paying short of £500 for the whole 3days, hotel, B&B, flights and all my spending money. This B&B was fantastic, the staff were so helpful, even those with little English did all they could to... More

Booked with Thomson who described this road very accurately. Staff excellent and facilities all worked. Really is an escape from the madness of the city. Had a fantastic holiday and the road played a big part in it.

Excellent location and lovely traditional ambience. Very quiet inside the hotel courtyard and bedrooms. We stayed for one week and although we enjoyed the experience of staying in a traditional Riad we would not choose to stay here again. We booked this holiday through our usual tour company without shopping around and I have since found much nicer places on... More

Spent 4 days here recently, easy to find down a few alley ways, breakfast ok but more fresh fruit would of been better and some sort of egg dish would of been nice. Room 308 was ok and the private terrace was wonderful. Room service was very good. No safe in room and no toiletries supplied. No water supplied either.... More

Spent a week here recently looking for some winter warmth. The location could not be better, just 5 minutes from the main square, though it takes some finding initially and the approach down narrow alleys is a little off-putting at first. However, once through the door you are in a lovely shady courtyard - an attractive space during the day... More

We have just returned from a short break in Marrakech staying at the Riad Catalina. This is only 5 minutes walk away from the main square. Very comfortable, and the staff could not have been more accomodating. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Even down to providing an empty room for a shower prior to a late... More

We were delighted with Riad Catalina. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the food was nice and plentiful and we had a great room (308) with a terrace shared with only one other room. Bird phobics may struggle a little with the sparrows which attempt to share breakfast, but the fantail doves kept their distance during meals! The rooftop... More

Riad Catalina Marrakech is one of the many places that my wife and I had on our places to visit list and we decided that to get the full experience we had to stay in a Riad. After a lot of research we found Riad Catalina and were not disappointed. Yes the rooms are a bit small but it was... More
