Riad Catalina was perfect for our needs. A quiet haven close to the Souks and main square. The staff were courteous and welcoming. Small rooms have been mentioned by other reviewers but our needs were well met. It was clean and the facilities worked well. The courtyard was lovely and provided different seating areas. The pool and terrace is a... More

Can't recommend Riad Catalina highly enough for the price! The staff were really friendly, the food was great (the evening special menus were fantastic) and the location was superb. The room wasn't massive but it didn't matter as there was space to relax by the pool or by the beautiful courtyard. Everything was very clean. Only thing to bear in... More

Great people, very nice breakfast and diners. Rooms are a bit small, but that's standard for a riad. It was clean and in good condition. Very nice patio and swimmingpool! Very private. Nice walking distance from djemaa el fna and that's an amazing experience!

My wife an I recently stayed for 3 nights as part of a twin centre stay in Morocco. The Riad is full of character and whilst some of the rooms are small they are clean and quiet. The rooms overlook a wonderful courtyard where breakfast is served in the morning. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The Riad is... More

We spent 3 nights at this Riad in July/August 2014. We were underwhelmed from the moment of our arrival. Our pickup was 20 mins late at the airport. On arrival at he Riad no one came to welcome us, offer mint tea or tell us that we would need to wait for the best part of an hour for our... More

My mum and I stayed at Riad Catalina for a week in June and we both lived it. Because my mum has arthritis and walks with a stick, we had asked for a ground floor room and were thrilled to be upgraded to the Royal Suite which was amazing. The suite gave us 2 bedrooms, 1 huge shower room and... More

Marrakech can be either a great place to visit or a fantastic place to experience. The hotels outside the Medina are great, but for me the choice to stay at a traditional Riad was a far better choice. Riad Catalina is a great place for this. It's tucked away in the narrow lanes a short and easy (10 min) walk... More

Just returned from a short stay in Marrakech at the Riad Catalina, as previous reviews have stated it really is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Ideally located a short walk from the main square and souks, it has a beautifully cool courtyard, providing free wifi and resident tortoises! The rooms are a little on... More

My husband and I have just returned from Riad Catalina after spending a week there. We booked a superior room and was very glad to find ourselves in 307 with a beautiful terrace shared with room 308. Our room was small as said in previous reports but we soon got used to it and found it very comfortable and cosy.... More

Located within the Medina in Marrakech, we had an extremely pleasant stay at the Riad Catalina during out stay in town. The main square is few minute walk from the hotel and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. Specially Nadia, who was kind enough to give us a very extended checkout! I would certainly stay here when we visit... More
