My mum and I stayed at Riad Catalina for a week in June and we both lived it. Because my mum has arthritis and walks with a stick, we had asked for a ground floor room and were thrilled to be upgraded to the Royal Suite which was amazing. The suite gave us 2 bedrooms, 1 huge shower room and... More

Marrakech can be either a great place to visit or a fantastic place to experience. The hotels outside the Medina are great, but for me the choice to stay at a traditional Riad was a far better choice. Riad Catalina is a great place for this. It's tucked away in the narrow lanes a short and easy (10 min) walk... More

Just returned from a short stay in Marrakech at the Riad Catalina, as previous reviews have stated it really is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Ideally located a short walk from the main square and souks, it has a beautifully cool courtyard, providing free wifi and resident tortoises! The rooms are a little on... More

My husband and I have just returned from Riad Catalina after spending a week there. We booked a superior room and was very glad to find ourselves in 307 with a beautiful terrace shared with room 308. Our room was small as said in previous reports but we soon got used to it and found it very comfortable and cosy.... More

Located within the Medina in Marrakech, we had an extremely pleasant stay at the Riad Catalina during out stay in town. The main square is few minute walk from the hotel and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. Specially Nadia, who was kind enough to give us a very extended checkout! I would certainly stay here when we visit... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, on our first ever trip to Marrakech. I had done lots of research on tripadvisor, and I am so glad we booked here. It was very quiet and relaxing, the staff are very attentive (even bringing drinks up to the roof terrace), the food was very good and they sell wine!!... More

We have just returned from a week at the Riad Catalina. After the madness and heat of the main square and the souks, it provides a cool, calm oasis to retreat back to in the afternoon with the additional benefit of having a small pool on the roof to cool off in. The staff are absolutely wonderful and nothing is... More

My second time in Riad Catalina! Me and my collegues stayed in Riad Catalina for about 1 week. We had a terrific time: the location was perfect, the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful and the Riad was so peaceful+great food. The perfect escape from the busy streets of Marrakech. Wouldn't go anywhere else but here!

Stayed for 1 week. Really liked it. Offered room upgrade as it was our anniversary. Not far from the jemaa and the souk. Within the Medina but you wouldn't know it, as you meander your way through the back street alleys to the riad the noise of the square disappears and is replaced with calm silence. Ducking through the door... More

Just got back this morning from a 5 day break at Riad Catalina. First trip 3 years ago was with a female pal, and we enjoyed it so much I promised I would take my husband. Such a lovely calm atmosphere with cool palm fringed courtyard complete with chirruping birds. Staff are very attentive, and speak very good English. They... More
