We stayed here in September. The Riad is lovely and the peaceful courtyard is a great place to escape from the manic streets. The staff were all fantastic. Our room wasn't the biggest hotel room ever but after reading some of the reviews on here I was pleasantly surprised by the size. Loved the bathroom. We also ate here one... More

We were met from our airport transfer by Jusef who took our bags and led the way down a handful of allies to Riad Catalina in the Medina. This is such a pretty Riad and all I had dreamed of in regard to traditional Moroccan decor. Built around a gorgeous peaceful centre courtyard with luscious trees and palms the terracotta... More

After what felt like a very cramped and long Thompson flight we were not quite sure what to expect from our Riad. We were welcomed late in the night with mint tea in a beautiful candle lit courtyard. The climb up three flights of stairs felt like a mission but once climbed it was worth it. Our room shared a... More

Arrived tired after night flight. Walked down narrow streets and wondered if we would get lost. But no problem. The Catalina is fantastic and a true Riad. The bedroom was fantastic ,although traditional. The food was out of the world, the flavours were brilliant, wish I could copy them.Just a short walk from the amazing square and the souk.A great base to see Marakesh.

We booked a week here through Thomson, arriving late at night. Only about 20 mins car journey from airport. Welcomed with mint tea and shown to our rooms. Breakfasts were good, bread, butter, cheese, cakes, pastries, jams fruit and yoghurts, tea/coffee and orange juice. We had room 204. There isn't a huge lot of room around the bed, but it... More

From the moment we arrived from the airport (thanks to arranged transfer, as we never would have found the place) we were made to feel welcome guests, mint tea in the beautiful patio garden, while the room was been made ready as we arrived early morning. Service throughout was great, even better when we had adjusted to Moroccan pace, the dining... More

We arrived after 14 hours of travelling very very tired and it was dark. We walk for what seemed like miles down back streets in the dark with a guy who couldn't speak much English and were a little scared to be honest. We were not looking forward to the next day!!! However the next day after good sleep the... More

Riad Catalina was perfect for our needs. A quiet haven close to the Souks and main square. The staff were courteous and welcoming. Small rooms have been mentioned by other reviewers but our needs were well met. It was clean and the facilities worked well. The courtyard was lovely and provided different seating areas. The pool and terrace is a... More

Can't recommend Riad Catalina highly enough for the price! The staff were really friendly, the food was great (the evening special menus were fantastic) and the location was superb. The room wasn't massive but it didn't matter as there was space to relax by the pool or by the beautiful courtyard. Everything was very clean. Only thing to bear in... More

Great people, very nice breakfast and diners. Rooms are a bit small, but that's standard for a riad. It was clean and in good condition. Very nice patio and swimmingpool! Very private. Nice walking distance from djemaa el fna and that's an amazing experience!
