We booked into this Riad based on the Lastminute advert of a traditional riad with gardens, outdoor pool and 4 star facilities. "Hotel Details Combining traditional and modern styles, this 4-star hotel sits in the heart of Marrakech?s medina. During your stay you can enjoy a dip in the outdoor pool, a complimentary breakfast each morning and delicious evening meals... More

In travelling to an unknown city for the first time, if one can find One helpful person, it takes the stress away of the unknown. At the Riad we found 2.The owner Mr Karim personally welcomed us, Upgraded us to a luxury suite, advised of things do to in Marrakesh and arranged the tours. Felt safe in his advise. The... More

We booked this riad as my wife and I were attending a wedding in Morocco and wanted to experience the Old Town of Marrakesh, using a certain website's "secret" deal.. I have used this many times before, always with huge success.. Upon being given the name of the hotel, I came to TripAdvisor to get the low-down.. One previous review... More

Don't let the pictures on lastminute.com fool you - this is the furthest thing from a 'beautiful authentic Riad' that you could possibly find in Marrakech. The filtered photography you see on their site is there for good reason: it's gaudy, weathered and aging; with horribly tasteless travel lodge-feel rooms, beds that resemble spaceships, and peeling paint everywhere. My husband... More

Friendly staff and excellent position make this a great place for a break away. While I know there are posher Riads if you want to laze in your hotel, 1001 nuits is clean and well run, if a little 'rustic' in places. However the staff are very helpful, the drinks, though not free are reasonably priced, and the breakfast is... More

Fifteen minute walk to the Place Jemma el Fna but a good base for walking the Souks. A beautifully decorated Riad with atmospheric rooms and surroundings. The staff are eager to please and make the stay very enjoyable. A delicious breakfast of crepe, pancakes, yoghourt and local bread severed on he roof terrace make a great start to the day.... More

I booked to stay at this Riad for New Year's Eve as I wanted to be in the heart of things on this special night. Well, we were very unlucky that we booked via LastMinute.com. The owner of the Riad told us that he had refused the booking from LastMinute, but they didn't cancel my booking. We arrived on the... More

Generally, the Riad was fine and it was a great place to discover Marrakesh as it is located very centrally in the heart of the medina. Anyway compared to the other places where we've been to in Marrakesh and Morocco, the riad is not a place where you voluntarily want to spend your free time in the afternoon or evening... More

Needless to say we got lost for good half an hour before finding it. It's in a wee side street not immediately visible. When we walked in the guy at the reception walked us around and fully explained costs, packages, and details of hammam experience. Ladies working there were really attentive and bath, scrub and mud body mask were amazing. I... More

Both my husband and I felt that this Riad was very disappointing. We were originally welcomed by the owners, but they soon disappeared, never to be seen again. The whole Riad was quite dark, dingy and in places dirty. (For example the feature Moroccan light in our room was so heavy with dust that you could still see the dust... More
