We stayed at the Riad l'Etoile du Sud et Spa for our first two nights in Marrakech, and could not have been made more welcome. We arrived already late in the evening, but were greeted with a very warm welcome, shown to our room, made feel at home immediately, and were served traditional mint tea and baklava. This Riad was... this riad is in a good location and is good value for money. it's 15 minutes from the airport, if you arrange for a transfer it 13 euros, or if take a taxi is about 100 DH. you can arrange transfer with the riad, and the riad will take payment in either euros or dirhams. i found the place clean,... Stayed at this Riad with my partner in April 2014. All the facilities worked, including the hot tub on a roof. which was a lovely addition to every night. Room was spacious, so was a bathroom. Decor eas very traditional, we were inmpressed. The only thing I didnt like was thin walls. There is no isolation at all, so you... More

The room was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The Riad was in a great situation - within walking distance from many places, the Jemaa El Fna and the Saadian Tombs. The google map and map on the website are both wrong so it took a long time to find and there are 2 roads called Rue Tourareg, so... More

We had arranged an airport transfer by e-mail prior to arrival. The fee was 13 euros, i would recommend this highly if its your first visit to Marrakech. The taxi driver was very friendly and helpful with some tips en-route. I think we would have struggled to find the riad before finding our bearings. As the taxi pulled up, Mohammed... More

We felt so relaxed and at home in this lovely riad filled with exquisite Moroccan features at every twist and turn. The courtyard is lush with palm and orange trees growing out from the ground and there are two beautifully decorated lounges for resting in if you fancy a change from the roof top terrace. We liked the fact that... More

The Riad has all the charme of a typical Riad: Arabic decor, beautiful inner courtyard and rooftop terrace. You do not hear anything from the hustle and bustle of street life, but do not expect too much privacy, because you can hear almost everything the other guests are doing and they will probably hear everything you are doing. So if... More

My partner and I had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay at Riad Étoile du Sud et Spa, Marrakech. It was only 5 minutes from the Jemaa El Fna Square, but enough of a walk to be away from all the hustle and bustle of it all, a very tranquil place and comfortable, the room had heating and hot water... We had a lovely stay here. It's very pretty and Mohammed the manager is fun. However we were obliged to move from one of our carefully chosen rooms to a different one because the double bed was needed for other guests so one member of our party got a bed in an annexe attached to a reception room! Another member... More

Riad l'Etoile du Sud was without a doubt the best place we stayed in Morocco. The staff were fantastic, the rooms were immaculately clean and the breakfasts were delicious! We stayed here one night passing through Marrakesh but came back for the end of our trip. (We had actually planned to stay in an expensive hotel at the end of... More
