I recently stayed at the Riad Arahanta with a friend who had visited before. As I had never visited Marrackech I had kept a very open mind. Any expectations I had were totally blown away, not only the Riad and its excellent hosts but the way of life, generous spirit & good humour of the locals was a breath of... More

I've stayed at the Riad Arahanta on three separate occassions and I plan to continue staying there everytime that I visit Marrakech. Why you may ask? Because of Ross and David who own the riad. Their hospitality and trustworthiness, their knowledge, accessibility and eagerness to help is unmatched. Marrakech is enchanting, but also quite different from anything that you may... More

Thank you so much for your review. We always are delighted when you write asking for accommodation and it is always a pleasure in helping you with advice and suggestions. However I now know why my mint plants keep disappearing! Only kidding - there are plenty of them! We look forward to your next booking with us. More

We stayed 2 nights in a ground floor double room which looks out onto a large and pretty plant filled courtyard. The bed was very comfy and clean and the shower room was a good size with an endless supply of hot water. The owners helped us a lot with tips for places to eat and they recommended a good... More

It's really hard to believe that some people liked this place. There was even a nice article in the New York Times I took it because the owners are 2 guys & thought gay guys usually have great taste . There are exceptions to every rule.. We booked two rooms - a single and a double for 90€/ night total.... More

What a nasty review. We are very sorry this guest did not enjoy his stay and his opinions are so far removed from what other reviewers say one would think he had stayed somewhere else entirely. Questions of taste are obviously subjective and we are rather proud to have kept the Riad in a traditional manner (albeit with up to... More

Easy to find (once you find it if that makes sense) but also easy to hide away if that's what you want Easy to get to the Djamaa el Fna or The Square (10 minutes walk through an Aladdinesque Dreamscape of stalls and colour and chaos) Easy to get up to the rooftop and chill out during the evening, listening... I was at Riad Rahanta one week in March and had a really peasant stay. The place is a typical Marrakech Riad, maintained with the original decor, a lot o plants on all floors, central patio, terrace, typical tiles and stuccos (are they called stuccos?) throughout. It is run by Ross and David, both Scottish, together with the manager Hamid.... More

Riads are such great designs - an open air courtyard with rooms around the perimeter....and a roof terrace. Arahanta had such a wonderful feel. Ross and david, the owners, were very friendly and helpful with lots of local advice (ask them about the nearby restaurant with the vegetarian tagine - insist on preserved lemon being added). They organised for us... More

Never having been to marrakech before, we didnt know what to expect. We needn't have worried. On arriving at Riad Arahanta, we were welcomed by David and Ross who were very friendly and full of all sorts of very useful information. Nothing was too much bother to David or his staff and after tiring days out and about we were... More

Stayed in August for 2 weeks and loved how central the Riad is to the old city . Locals very friendly and not too pushy when buying stuff in the market ,David (Owner) very helpfull and looks after you very well .You are minutes away from the centre of Marrakesh and the daily trip through the various souks is a...
