I have stayed at Riad Jonan twice now and if I go to Marrakech again will stay there for a third time. My last stay was as good as the first, the staff are friendly and helpful, the riad is in an excellent site within the Kasbah, close to the Djema el Fnaar, but far enough away to be quiet.... More

This place was perfect...very close to the sights yet away enough to have a bit of a relaxing time back at the Riad. We spent alot of time in the Riad & it's roof top area.....was lovely to come back & chill with mint tea & a bottle of wine! I never witnessed better staff than at this place.....always happy... Found this Riad on tripadviser and was more than pleased with what they had to offer. The Riad is in a great location, the sights are mostley in walking distance. The Riad is comfortable, clean, and has all the mod/cons you will need.I think the best thing about the place are the staff, The manager Hassan has loads of advice as he has... More

Riad Jonan is tucked away on a quite street in the Kasbah of Marrakech... We arrived for a few days of stay and were welcomed by what we soon realised was the friendly face of this place. Hassan, Hassan and their wonderful team looked after us in the best way possible. Friendly, helpful, thoughtful and fun - we thoroughly enjoyed... More

Riad Jonan, Excellent Riad (house built around an enclosed patio, with soft play of water, fountain and plunge pool), Balconys of individual discrete rooms rising up to a relaxing wonderful roof garden. Lots of places to lounge, read, sunbath, or think, with towels and straw sun hats to hand. French colonial traditional architecture with the luxury of modern trimmings. Unique... More

We stayed at the Riad Jonan for 4 nights in April 2012. We had chosen a superior room on a B&B basis. The Riad has 11 rooms and is in a good location within the Medina and 10 mins walk from the main square. The hot breakfast options were limited but there was sufficient quantity overall so can't complain. The... More

Our first stay in a riad and it was great. The house itself has been restored to a very high standatd, with every room unique. The hotel food was also beautiful. My wife particlarly enjoyed the lamb tagine. ... And the spiced vegetable salads were stunning. The staff, led by Hassan could not have been more helpfu. The hotel is... More

First visit to Marrakech over Easter holiday. Very short transfer from the modern airport. On arrival looks like third world - narrow streets filled with people, ramshackle shops, smoking grills and polluting mopeds everywhere. Entering the Jonan, everything is transformed. The interior is beautiful and the very thick walls insulate the interior from everything going on outside. This is a... More

Like many cities Marrakech is densely populated. There are plenty of sites to see. My wife and I stayed a week in late March, weather was hot and sometimes wet. The street scene is somewhat like an unending barbeque, just outside the Riad and moreso in the 'big square'. The small business people do try to sell their wares to... More
