I'm going to Marrakech in a few weeks and have done tremendous research on riads to stay. The owner, Alix Salvo, has been extremely responsive in his email communications with me. I was about to forward him my payment when I saw pictures of the riad through another website that all the rooms contain two twin beds that are pushed... More

We stayed at the Riad Amira for one night in late July. The riad is beautifully finished with a lovely (small) pool and air-conditioned rooms. The furnishings, fixtures, etc all show a great attention to detail and the new owners are very keen. However the operation of the riad seemed a little lacking. We stayed in the Simbad room. The... I highly recommend Riad Amira. The riad itself is truly beautiful, the furnishings are lovely, the courtyard looks like something you only see in films and the roof terrace great for sunbathing! Breakfast was lovely, croissants, crepes, jams, bread and orange juice in the courtyard. Nothing was too much trouble at the Riad. We ate there one evening and it... More

Having not been to Marrakech before we had no idea where to stay, so we took a chance and plumped for the Riad Amira. Tim & Alex (the owners) arranged for us to be picked up at the airport by taxi (this was an experience in itself) and we were dropped at the door, although how the taxi is able... More

We've just returned from 4 nights staying in the wonderful Riad Amira! It was delightful! Relaxing courtyard and pool, comfortable, beautifully furnished rooms and roof terrace overlooking the rooftops of Marrakech. The owners Alix and Tim and their staff were so helpful and friendly, it was an absolute pleasure being there. They couldn't do enough for us, booking restaurants, taxis,... More

My girlfriend and I spent 3 great nights in the Riad Amira in early February. We were in a large bedroom which had an amazing bathroom. The owners, Alix and Tim, helped us with any problems and questions that we had, and added a real personal touch to our stay. The breakfasts were great, and if you want lunch or... More
