Set within the city walls, in the Kasbah, Riad Amira is indeed a caven of calm. Once walking through the door, you are welcomed into a stunning Riad together with a plunge pool ideal in the heat of Marrakesh in August. The double bed sunloungers on the roof top were fantastic and the rooms were traditionally decorated and kept to... more

Seeing the few reviews of the Riad on the website I decided to share my experience with Riad Amira even if it was in September 2006. We stayed there a week with my wife (with a 2 days break in Essaouira) and had one of the best hotel experience in my life there. This was mainly due to the exceptional... more

First timer in Morocco, and we didn't really know what to look for. This Riad is in a narrow alley a few "blocks" off the main gate. Once inside it is a completely different experience! The rooms are minimal but elegant and the roof top space is top notch with views of the center of Marakech and the Atlas Range.... more

We originally booked for just one night, but after a change of plan was so glad we stayed for two! It's a bit of a mission to find, but so worth it! Stayed with my gorgeous boyfriend and his lovely 13 year old daughter & we were all absolutely delighted with the welcome & hospitality shown to us. The rooms... more

We booked our stay at Riad Amira through Hipmarrakech.com and stayed for 2 nights before moving on to Villa Amira (which is run by 2 sisters of Riad Amira owner Alix). Prior to our holiday we had been provided (by email) with a map and directions for how to find the Riad (many thanks to Amanda at Hipmarakech.com for your... more

Stayed at Riad Amira for 8 nights in early October and had a very pleasant time. We had arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport through the owners Tim and Alix and yes it did turn up - cost 100 dirhams though they tried to charge 150 but we had already checked what the price was. First impression... more

We had a lovely time in Marrakech. We arranged a taxi pick-up in advance through Riad Amira and it went well. Marrakech is very alive, especially at night, but when you enter the riad is so quiet en peacefull. The staff is so nice, we've never had friendlier staff than here. The riad is nicely renovated and very tastefully decorated.... more

Had a great stay at the Riad Amira. Taxi pickup from airport ran smoothly, no problems. Lovely room, as well as roof terrace and courtyard area, perfect for relaxing after a busy day in the souks! Great staff there, they arranged a taxi for us for the day for a trip into the Atlas mountains, as well as getting up... more

Just returned from a week staying at the Riad Amira. What a lovely place. Like many houses in Marrakech, the outside is a bit scruffy, but once through the door you are in another world! The place just oozes calm and serenity. Tastefully furnished, well appointed bedrooms, with lots of individual touches, look onto a central courtyard. Meals are taken... more
