Difficult to add to the previous good reviews of this superb Riad other than to say that, if you are going to Marrakech, stay there - you will not be disappointed. It is an oasis of calm in the middle of the bustling Medina. The staff are superb and will go out of their way to help. The owner, Allan,... More

The Riad El Zohar is an exceptional Riad. Hidden off the busy streets of the Medina it is an oasis of calm. The owners and their staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We felt so so at home here and will definitely be returning. We miss our morning coffees on the roof overlooking the city towards the Atlas mountains.

This riad is truly a hidden gem in what at first appears to be a maze of orange walls. My fiancé and I visited in February half term for a holiday to celebrate our engagement. We were greeted by the riad owners who were happy to offer us advice and tell us some places to visit as we were only... More

We have recently returned from a wonderful break to Marrakech and especially to the Riad El Zohar. We didn't know what to expect after a previous visit four years ago, but from the moment we were collected from the airport and our luggage transferred to the Riad by porter we felt totally relaxed. On arrival at the Riad we were... More

This was my second and my wife's third stay at El Zohar. Located at the heart of the historic Medina, it represents an oasis of calm, relaxed and stylish comfort. The hospitality of the proprietors, Allan and Malika is faultless as is the service from the friendly and long serving staff. From the riad you can throw yourself straight into... More

Fab and friendly and beautiful place to stay in the heart of Marrakesh! The breakfasts are huge and will set you up for the day! We had a lovely evening meal here too which was tasty and plentiful. Alan was so helpful giving hints on how to haggle, organised a guided tour with a fantastic guide Salam, booked tables at... More

This riad is a wonderful place to stay. We chose to stay in the Tallilit room upstairs as we thought it may be a bit quieter (breakfast is taken downstairs). The bed was comfortable and there were lots of little "touches" e.g. rose petals on the towels on the first night. Alan and the staff could not have been more... More

A really welcoming and comfortable riad. The staff are very friendly and keen to help. We enjoyed the stylish décor and the good food as well as its central location. Why stay any where else? It was a pity we could only stay for three nights. Phil and Judith

Alan and his team have done it again. This has to be one of the best places to stay, its in the middle of the hustle and bustle yet is a perfect place to rest after a good day sightseeing or haggling in the souks .nothing is too much trouble for Alan and his team and if you get the... More
