We have just returned after a three night stay at this Riad, tucked away amongst the souks of Marrakesh. It was like nothing I have experienced before. It is build around a small swimming pool courtyard with rooms on the ground and first floor. A roof garden, complete with tents, comfy couches, throws and pillows was a delight, especially as... Having wanting to stay at this Riad for a number of years, it completely lived up to how I had imagined it to be and much, much more. From the friendly, helpful staff, to the fabulous homemade food to the luxury accommodation, there is nothing you are wanting for. Perfect location, right next to the souks, which is a great... My wife and I stayed at Riad el Zohar in May this year - it was our second visit. Once again we were delighted with everything this Riad has to offer - very comfortable, very friendly, outstanding service.

We had the undeniable good fortune to stay at the Riad El Zohar in March. The trip was organised as a surprise for me by my husband, who had been recommended the Riad by the Naturally Morocco travel company. We had such an adventure arriving at the Raid on foot chasing behind a swift moving porter who took our baggage... More

The Riad El Zohar is a great place to stay, tucked away in a side street, only a couple of minutes away from the bustle and and charm of the souks. The accommodation is first class and our hosts were charming and helpful. Alan was full of advice and local knowledge for us to make the best of our stay... More

This is a fantastic Riad and in a great central location offering great accommodation, superb service and food and can not recommend it enough. This was also my first trip to Marrakech in 35 years and it has certainly changed for the better and is a fantastic location for a break.

Have just returned from a lovely 4 day break at Riad EL Zohar. The trip was booked as a birthday treat and exceeded all our expectations. The owners Allan and Malika were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Our" Dades" room was delightful, complete with toiletries, hairdryer and bathrobes; a lovely touch. Staff were charming and attentive, a special thank you... More

We spent 3 wonderful nights here, the owners are so kind and helpful, they really made our stay one to remember. Their Riad is magical, its spotlessly clean and all the lovely extra touches (rose petals on the towels) made it a really special place to stay. The food was beautifully cooked, all home made with fresh, local ingredients. Thanks... More

Located in the heart of the Medina, with friendly welcoming staff. Perfect hosts and fantastic food. The 5 course banquet on the first night set the tone for an unforgettable experience. I will be back!!

4th of 4 proper riads we stayed in over 3 weeks in Morocco, only for 1 night as the 3rd one didn't have availability for all the time we wanted. We were taken there from the other riad (all of about 20 seconds away!), and walked in to a very warm welcome and an unexpectedly superb riad! Really nice place,... More
