The Lotus Perle is a really stunning Riad, only five rooms and with the exception of the management(more later) the staff are brilliant. Nothing is to much trouble, things may take a while but they get there in the end. Ideally situated in the Medina with only a 15 minute walk to the great square its a great base. The pool... More

This is a nice Riad and the staff were friendly helpful and this counts for a lot, but once you get past the much hyped 'wow' factor of the themed rooms you realise that there is no shower in the bathroom and that there is no real storage for all your stuff; just two little draws in my room (the... I was fortunate enough to spend a sublime week in Marrakech and stay at Perle. Excellent service, only the best linens and bath products and beautiful art deco-inspired decor made me feel like a princess in my own riad. With a prime location inside the medina, you are only moments away from Souk and the main square. Yet at the... More

It was totally unexpected when we came off this little street where kids play football and hide & seek to find such a contrast in Perle. A colonial style ofering that has been polished into a very decadent little hotel. it is small , but it feels like you are in someones home and not in a hotel; a much... More

This hotel has great potential, but for the moment I would steer clear. I've just spent two nights here, and whilst it's a stunning looking riad, it's not being properly managed. The inner court yard consists of a very small pool - about 12ft by 4ft, and not really for swimming in, more of a decorative feature. Around it are... More

Marrakech - what a place. Ive never been anywhere like it. Thought Bangkok was fabulous in a very strange way but Marrakech was even more fabulous in an even stranger way. Its filthy dirty dusty but absolutly beautiful fascinating enchanting all at the same time. We stayed at Lotus Perle booked through a company called Boutique Souk and must say... More

Just returned from a week at Perle Riad. We spent a lot of time in the Riad (my other half was taking it easy following a recent illness), and so feel eminently qualified to review every aspect of the venue and service. The Riad itself is simply stunning. Opened for just over a year, it combines a traditional Moroccan feel... More
