We stayed for three nights in this hotel and enjoyed our time there. Breakfasts were good with quite a lot of choice and the meals and service in the evenings were great. Our room was small but very clean. It was noisy at the front of the hotel as mentioned by other reviewers but we didn't ask to change rooms... More

I just came back from Le Caspien. Went there with a friend, we had Group on vouchers. For what was paid, I wasn't expecting much to be honest but Le Caspien lacked some basic things. The breakfast was very very poor, only bread and pastries. Coffee and orange juice were fine. Staff were standing by the breakfast room door and... More

Nice, fresh hotel a bit away from the old city of Marrakesh - which is a good thing. We walked into the old town in 20 mins but spent time in the new parts of Marrakesh aswell. The hotel is nice. We stayed on the top floor and had a great view from our big balcony. The rooms are spacious... More

This was the last of 11 hotels which I stayed in at end of 5 week tour of Morocco. Spent 3 nights there and was chosen on basis of previous good reviews and Lonely Planet listing. However, I found this hotel disappointing albeit appreciating that it could easily appeal to others . Le Caspien is located in the Nouvelle Ville,... More

1. the room was horrible- small and dirty, even after they've cleaned it, it was still smelly, we called the reception saying that there wasn't any hot water, they didn't seem very interested, the towels they gave us have been used for at least 5-6 years, disgusting, we had our own, so we were lucky. 2. the most uncomfortable bed,... We just came back after 6 nights at Le Caspien Hotel. We were two single friends travelling so had a twin room Rm 205 with a balcony overlooking pool. Room was pleasant could not fault except the balcony door lock was broken so not secure. Bathroom - shower head did not work on wall hook, water went every where so... More

We booked this hotel via groupon at a nice bargain-price for five nights. The overall experience was 3,5 out of five stars, mainly because we switched rooms after one night. We tried to write down our experiences in a few do's and don'ts: Don't: - Drink the coffee at the breakfast buffet! It's horrible! - Expect everything in the hotel... More

Booked the hotel through groupon and having done our research before we knew it was a budget hotel. The hotel was an excellent base for the city sights. One major note is that if you get a taxi from the airport to the hotel do not pay more than 100 dirhams. We were tired after our flight and ended up paying... More

Just arrived back from Le Caspien using the Groupon voucher. Overall, pretty grim. would not go there again, bedroom was very basic and dull. Shower did not work properly, bathroom accessories fell off (door hanger as well as the towel holder). TV remote control did not work, and the breakfast was very limited in variety. Staff were great though, but... More

We stayed at Le Caspien for 4 nights. Overall, we were happy with the hotel. The staff were great; very helpful & friendly. We had a Groupon voucher & had no problems booking in, greeted with lovely (& most welcome!) mint tea & morrocan biscuits. Our room was at the back of the hotel, doesn't get much sun in Feb,... More
