What a wonderful vibrant exciting place to visit. Flew from Manchester to Marrakech on Friday and left on Sunday night. The flight times were good giving us nearly 3 whole days there. We booked to stay at the Riad Dar El Souk in the Medina. They organized a taxi to collect us from the airport which cost 100 Dirhams. It... More

Just got back from a 4 day break in Marrakech, stayed in Joutia Zrabi room at Dar El Souk and it was fabulous! The room has a 4 poster bed and romantic drapes and your own courtyard festooned in drapes were you can sit outside your room. it is on the 1st floor so is very private and quiet. The... More

Myself and my sister stayed at Dar el Souk from the 2nd of April for 5 nights. We had a wonderfully relaxing time - exactly what we both needed. On arrival Madeline who runs the Riad had arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport and once in the city for a chariot to take our luggage down... More

Our flight was delayed when we arrived to Marrakech but we were pleased to see that the pre-arrange driver Madeline (owner of Dar El Souk) had arranged for us was still waiting for us. Madeline was not at the Riad when we arrived but she spoke to us over the telephone and came and had a good chat with us... More

Perfect place to relax, Dar el Souk provides a great setting and peaceful haven after the phrenetic pace of Marrakech. Madeline is the perfect host always on hand to help when needed, interesting and interested in her guests without intruding. The Riad is beautifully decorated and lives up to Madeleine's wish that it is like staying in your own home,... More

Brilliant location near the Place and Souks, but far enough to not get hassled on your way home. The staff were excellent, especially Madeline who gave us some great tips for our short stay. The breakfast is brilliant and you can take it anywhere in the riad - by the plunge pool, on the balcony or on the sun deck.... More

Dar El Souk is a fabulous Riad, English owned, in the centre of old Marrakesh. Hidden just off the main track everything you could need is in walking distance and yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The riad is beautiful, calm and peaceful; each room is individually designed and your every need has been thought of. The terrace... More

We had a pleasant stay in the Dar el Souk. Arrived at the airport and our taxi was waiting. It's only a short trip to the Riad, about 10-15 mins. Once there, Madeline, the owner, sat us down in the courtyard and explained a little about Marrakech and recommended some great things to do and some fantastic places to eat.... More

A lovely riad, conveniently close to the main square but tucked away from the hussle and bussle. The roof garden is truly lovely and the call to pray is actually quite therapeutic! I stayed on the ground floor and since it was winter there was little or no noise. I can imagine it gets a bit noisy in the summer... More

We have just returned from our stay at the Dar el Souk and totally loved it. We arrived in Marrakech as two novices and Madeline and the staff at the Riad made our stay a complete pleasure. The advice, guidance and suggestions of where to go provided by Madeline on our first morning was a great help. The peace and... More
