Just the perfect retreat from the hustle & bustle of Marrakech. Spotlessly clean, relaxed yet staff always attentive when needed. Our welcome by the owner Madie was wonderful, & she remained available for any queries. Breakfast on the rooftop under a warm sun at the end of October was an absolute tonic!

Just got back from a long weekend in Marrakech to celebrate the 'Big O' birthday of my wife. It was mystery trip I organised and was very pleased at her reaction at Gatwick when our destination was revealed! I had researched on Trip Advisor for a place to stay and chose Dar el Souk as it was highly recommended and... More

I would recommend Dar El Souk to anyone. We had the most amazing stay. The staff and Madie were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best that we had in our whole trip in Morocco. We stayed in three different rooms and they were all charming and individual. The riad has been beautifully decorated. It made all other... More

We chose Dar El Souk mainly from the reviews we'd read on tripadvisor, and we weren't disappointed. Madeline is wonderful, especially on our first morning when she took the time to highlight places on our map, explain how to get to and from the riad and so on, and recommended things to do, and not to do. The staff are... More

This riad has everything you need to make a stay in Marrakech a magical experience. The staff are so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The riad is beautifully decorated throughout. A haven of plants and sheer curtain panels give an airy, yet opulent feel, The roof terrace is perfect for the hearty breakfast, which can be taken anywhere that... More

Just what the Doctor Ordered. From the moment the front door is opened by one of a small group of friendly staff, you feel welcome at the Dar el Souk. The noise and bustle of the outside world drops away, leaving you feeling instantly relaxed. This Riad has been beautifully restored and decorated by Madi Williams, the current owner. With... More

We have just returned from four days at Dar El Souk and it was everything we had hoped for.The Riad is situated about ten minutes from the souks and the main square (Which must be visited at night )to experience the madness of Marrakesh. Even though the Riad is such a short walk from all the hustle and bustle, once through... More

We couldn't have asked for anything more! This riad was a great find and we absolutely fell in love with the place. All the staff were great and the owner was a fantastic host, making sure at the beginning of our stay and indeed throughout that we were made to feel at home. The interiors were fantastic and all the... More

Beautiful riad in an excellent location - near enough to Jemaa El Fna but not too close to the craziness, and five minutes from the Badii Palace and the best bar in the city (I'll let you work that out yourself...) The riad itself is a gorgeous little oasis - beautifully decorated without being too bling or overdone. The honesty... More
