We recently stayed a few days at Riad Laora, and had a wonderful experience. The decor was superb, matched only by the willingness of the small staff to do all they could to make our stay outstanding. Meals were prepared by a gifted cook, and beautifully served, and the manageress went out of her way to help us find our... More

I stayed at this hotel for two nights to experience Marrakech on my own. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from Jamaa el-Fna. In other words, it's quite centrally located, and a nice base for exploring the interesting parts of Marrakech. It's hard a bit to hard to find, as it's located on a kind of random side street... This riad is beautiful. The central courtyard is small wonderfully decorated, the details, mosaics, decor...all new and Moroccan inspired. The room and bathroom are gorgeous as well, unique and beautiful. We LOVED this hotel but unfortunately, we were unable to get a good night's rest because of the hard bed, and the neighbors (particularly if your room is on the... More

We arrived early evening to be greeted by a pack of youths intent on 'helping' us with our bags the three short steps from the taxi to the riad. Once inside the youths then proceeded to shout at us for money. They had one foot inside the door and the young man in the riad did nothing to stop this.... More

I had the mixed pleasure of staying at this riad for two nights. Location is good in in the maze of narrow streets in the Marrakech medina. Quality of rooms is fair. Staff is nice and polite. Breakfast is ok and the atmosphere is excellent. WiFi in the downstairs atrium works. That's why it's so annoying that my stay ended... More

Booked our first night at Marrakesh just a day before our flight and it was one of the best places that we slept in for the whole trip .... They arranged for a cab to take us from the airport directly to the Riad, then a warm mint tea was served at 3 am ! The room was quite hot... More

We loved straying at Riad Laora. It was in the perfect location, only a short walk to the square but far enough so that you can really relax. Anything closer to the square would be a but much in my opinion. The weather was beautiful in September so we spent a lot of time in the afternoons up on the... More

We stayed as a family of 5 (parents & 17, 22 and 24 yr olds). We all greatly enjoyed our stay. The decor is wonderful, with their use of ceramics and fabrics. There is a foot pool in the central courtyard. Breakfast consisted of freshly cooked pancakes and muffins with jam and fresh orange jiuce. Our rooms has air con.... More

the Riad is amazing, mostly due to lovely staff. Manaar, Mina and Lahcen - amazing hosts; nothing we asked was too much trouble. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and tasty. (last day we had our favourite bread that we asked for the day before). Good location in the centre of Medina. Facilities at... More

Having read all the Tripadvisor comments we thought we had found a gem for our first trip to Marrakech. I am afraid we must have been in a different place to the rest of you. The Riad is located up a narrow dusty smelly alleyway. Our room was so small we could hardly move. There was a full ashtray on... More
