The Riad was very authentic. Great roof terrace. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They even organise the transfers to and from airport at a small cost. Breakfast was lovely. The only downside was the smell of cat urine from the many stray cats, but not really the Riad's fault. Ideally located to visit the Souks etc

Myself and a friend stayed in Riad Dar El Aila for 2 nights in June. The riad is absolutely beautiful - very ornately styled. The breakfast was very tasty, and the roof terrace was particularly stunning, with couches and loungers overlooking the entire city. The staff were extremely helpful, and even drew us a map when we arrived to help... More

From the minute you arrive you are bowled over by the services, the peace, the roof terrace, the breakfast, the views and the decoration. Our 2 bedroom suit was spectacular with a huge central lounge which could rate in the top 10 attractions of Marrakech itself. Organise a transfer with the Road as maybe difficult to find.

We stayed for 3 nights/4 days in this traditional old riad in the family 2 bedroom suite which was beautifully furnished and was cool and quiet - we all slept very well. Fantastic roof top terraces where you can see and hear the city with the Atlas mountains in the background - can't get much better than that! The staff... More

We stayed for 2 nights only but the Riad was just what was expected: old, traditional, cosy, and authentic. We felt as if not in a hotel but in a family house. It is very difficult to find in the maze that is the Medina, but once you get into the rhythm of Marrakech, it becomes so familiar that you... More

We chose this as it was well reviewed, good for the medina, and had a 2 bedroom family suite. The road can organise a taxi from the airport for you for 15Euro, considering the size of the suite we had it was very good value. Nice courtyards inside, one having a small outdoor pool. Rooftop restaurant and lounging area, all... More

Super place to stay if you are on a budget. Very lovely and traditional Riad with very clean well presented rooms. We had the cheaper room so it was small with no terrace, but still very quaint. Riad staff are really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Weather was wonderful with a fantastic roof terrace, the restaurant was in a Moroccan tent... More

We stayed here for two nights and were sorry to leave so soon. The Raid itself is stunning, the rooms comfortable, the rooftop terrace gives an amazing view of the old city. The staff was so nice, helping us with our every need, most of them spoke english which was convenient. When one of us got sick on the last... More
