Riad Dar El Aila is a fantastic retreat from the hustle and bustle of beautiful and crazy Marrakech. Everything was brilliant. The photographs don't do it justice, it's stunning. Amazing rooms (we had the chance to have the suite for one of the nights at no extra cost....WOW!). The roof terrace is stunning, great for a glass of wine, watching... More

This Riad is very traditional and the staff very attentive. We wanted for nothing, except perhaps for a lift ! We visited with my elderly father whose knees struggled with the stairs. Our room was very basic, not enough storage space if you are staying for more than 5 days! We also know that a couple of visitors had a... More

We (15 people) stayed 5 nights at Dar El Aïla, Marrakech, and I have the following remarks: Overall, we had a very pleasant stay: The riad was well worth the price, and the staff were really kind and accommodating. Minor flaws were the fact that some rooms did not have hot water (despite several repair attempts), and some of my... More

I visited with my mother and we had a great stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was nice and clean. There was a bit of noise at night time, but that is only to expect in the middle of Marrakech. So just bring some earplugs. The restaurant was fine as well, and it was nice... More

Had a long weekend with my daughter here. Room clean and authentic. Lovely terraces to sunbathe or read and watch he sun go down. Food lovely, breakfast could be better with good bread or pastries or egg. Staff very friendly and helpful, lovely massage very relaxing. Booked a tour to the mountains highly recommended. Not far from the main square... More

Never felt so welcome, my wife and I stayed there for 5 nights in this typical Morrocan riad just 7min away from the famous square for less then €2 by cab...... Food is great, for a low cost you can get a very nice massage/spa/Hammam at the "hotel" every request we had was immidiatly taken care off with a big... More

The authentic experience started as soon as I had cleared immigration and customs at RAK. The riad had arranged for me to be collected from the airport without mentioning the means of identification. When I entered the arrivals hall there must have been about 100 taxi/limo drivers milling around with pieces of paper in their hands showing badly-written names of... More

This Riad has great staff who will go way out to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. For the staff, the Riad should be rated 5/5. The hotel is really old and traditional giving you the impression how the people lived in the past. As such, i think it is difficult for the hotel to renew their renovation. All the... More

Our Riad Dar El Aila (once found), was friendly and welcoming! The staff kind and helpful. The room clean and beds comfy! Breakfast was simple but satisfying with delicious yogurt and cakes? The roof terraces make this Riad! Tranquility in the heart of the busiest city I've ever been to! I would highly recommend this Riad!

This was definitely my favorite of the six places we stayed in Morocco. When we arrived at the Marrakech airport (late at night), a very friendly driver was there to meet us to take us right to our doorstep. The hotel is beautiful. Even though it was pretty late at night, there was an amazing hot meal waiting for us... More
