We stayed at Ryad El Borj at the end of the year. From the moment we made first contact with Daniel our e-mails were responded to promptly and enquiries dealt with efficiently. Ryad el Borj is a perfect and peaceful hideaway conveniently located off the Medina. We stayed in the suite and couldn't quite believe the splendor of our rooms.... More

Very pretty place - it's not as tastefully decorated as other riads in Marrakech but it looks and feels very charming and genuine. The rooms downstairs are prettier, but they are also noisier in the morning (because the kitchen is on the ground floor as well and there is quite a bit of noise coming from there, epecially in the... We stayed in november for the second time this year in the Royal Suite of the riad. It was again a marvelous stay. The house is full of atmosphere and character, with a lot of typical zilligs and stuc sculptures. The suite is really exceptional. The situation is quite perfect (very close from the Jamaa El Fna place) and the... More

The Ryad El Borj is a very pleasant riad in Marrakech's Medina close to the main square and all the main attractions (shops, souks) of the Medina. The property consists of two parts: the main riad and the annex. We stayed in the annex which we much prefered to the main riad as it was very close to the main... More

My husband and I stayed here for four nights for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Douryiba Suite. It was spectacular. We had a wonderful time. The Suite was bigger than our entire apartment at home. We felt like we were in a palace. If you stay here, try to get the suite. It is well worth the splurge. The... More

We stayed for 3 nights in the royal suite as part of our honeymoon. This was a fantastic place with very beautiful decorations. Daniel the owner posted me the accomodation confirmation prior to our trip so we had no concerns about double booking. The manager met us at the airport and guided us to the ryad for free as part... My son & I stayed at the Ryad El Borj in the "tower room" for 8 nights. It is up 2 flights of stairs & you have to duck to avoid low ceilings (watch out tall people), but it is a beautiful room with comfortable, remote controlled a/c, large unique shower room and view of the alley leading to the... This is a beautiful traditionally decorated Riad located very close to the main square and souks but VERY quiet. Safe and easy to find just off a main route, Derb Debachi. When we arrived at Riad El Borj, it felt very familiar as it looked just like the photos I had seen on the internet. We stayed 4 nights in... More

I stayed at the Ryad el Borj last year with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time. I actually got along very well with the owner who even upgraded us to the suite (which is gorgeous)! I juste loved all the mosaic everywhere, and the little roof-top terrace from where you can see the whole city. It's also really... More

I really REALLY do not recommend this place, it is an absolute scam!! My mother had booked the 5 roooms of the riad for 4 days since June, for my whole family to be together for my wedding. The owner of this riad, unfortunately typifies the abuses of the riad business in Marrakech. He simply overbooks his place, and told... More
