We arrived with our three young children to this lovely, serena and very chic riyad. It was a welcome bit of tranquility in the noisy, hectic streets of Marrakech. The staff of the Riyad is incredibly helpful and was so nice with our children. They made us delicious meals and really met our every need. The pool was also a... More

My daughter and I stayed here in March. We were looking for somewhere within the Medina and to get away from the larger, impersonal hotels we have stayed in before in Marrakech. Riyad El Mezouar lived up to all expectations. We were made so welcome, the cuisine was delicious and the service was exceptional. We would highly recommend Riyad El... More

We stayed there in April and it was definitely the right choice. The Ryiad is tucked away in Marrakech small streets. It is a little gem in this busy Medina. When you come in you can only hear the little fountain and the birds singing. The Hotel is really well maintain and beatifully decorated, it has a lot of charm.... More

My husband and I recently stayed for 5 nights at Riyad el Mezouar and found it to be one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. The room was lovely, comfortable, and authentic in its decor. It opened directly onto the exquisite inner courtyard where orange trees and lavender surround a tranquil fountain and small pool. Breakfast poolside was... More

This was out third time in 8 years in Mezouar. Excellent stay as every time! The staff is extremely friendly and professional. An excellent team since years. The other important point is the architecture and decoration of the house, which makes it an excellent exception from the usual Riad-kitsch.

We had a wonderful stay at the historic and beautiful Riyad. Michel and his staff were attentive, charming and created a marvellous atmospheric for our short stay. The beautiful courtyard has a swimming pool, orngae trees and birds creating a fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommended

This Riyad, El Mezour, lived up to its hype, in that it is -metaphorically - an 'Oasis' in a difficult area: North East of the centre of the Medina. It's NOT in the centre of the Medina as some reviews claim. It is in the slums: the very worst of them. It would be impossible to find it or travel... More

Beautiful and peaceful in the centre of the medina. Staff very helpful ordering taxis and suggesting excursions, and the evening meal was fantastic (better than Dar Moha and that's saying something!). Made my fortieth birthday one I will never forget.

Riad el mezouar is a lovely place in the hearth of the Medina, well located and very quiet. Only 5 rooms (2 suites, 1 deluxe, 2 rooms). The staff is very friendly and gives good suggestions. The food is EXCELLENT ( the best in Marrakech!). There is no SPA but you can ask massages in your room, absolout marvellous! You... More

This is a small luxury and very quiet Riyad, very helpful service, well located to be picked up by taxis. There are only 6 rooms/ appartments and you do see nor hear hardly anybody. It feels like it is your proper home. Breakfast is served whereever you want it, even on the roof terrace or in your room. The staff... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located in the medina of Marrakech, just off the souk and close to the Jemaa-el-Fna square, Riyad el Mezouar is a luxurious hideaway, constructed in a XVIIth and XVIIIth century mansion. It is an intimate address, with the feel of an elegant private aristocratic house. The guesthouse offers three Rooms and two Junior Suites over two floors, in an authentic atmosphere and style, un-ostentatious and highly refined, reminiscent of the universe of the ancient Moroccan palaces. Its interior courtyard is a peaceful garden retreat. ... more   less
