Wonderful location. Stayed here with 4 other medical mission volunteers following our mission in Er-rachida. I liked it so much I went back a week later for two days when my bf came to travel with me. The staff is wonderful, the owner Magi is very accomodating and gracious. Loved having breakfast on the roof, it's very cozy and romantic.... more

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon. We stayed for 2 nights at the start, and 4 nights at the end. The service here is way above expectation, the staff who work here are helpful, friendly, professional. But they also seem to enjoy working here, which adds to the lovely atmosphere. Morocco threw everything it could at us,... more

Probably a little over-priced, but the service was excellent, and apart from the mosque in the morning, very quiet whilst at the same time being very central. The small number of rooms makes it feel more like you are staying in someone's house than a hotel. more

After staying in Ryad Mabrouka in Fes it was quite disappointing to stay in Riad Magi in Marrakech. It is a quiet riad but definitely not a heaven. We have stayed three nights in the ground floor room which was ok. The room rate was 1040 dirhams per night, instead of 65 pounds' equivalent of 945 dirhams. On top of... more

Riad Magi is a haven of calm in the exotic melee that is Marrakech. Charmingly decorated, with friendly, genuinely attentive staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Maggie Perry has created a family atmosphere where one can relax and gossip with other travellers. Delightful - we'll be back and would recommend it to anyone wanting to taste the delights... more

I had a truly wonderful time on my third stay, having already attended the Healing Herbs Symposium organised by Maggie Perry. This was a truly magical week-end of outings and fascinatings evening with visiting guest speakers at Riad Magi. Dinners served on the roof terrace in really good company were unforgettable; the staff could not have been more helpful. The... more

Just back from my third stay at Riad Magi - and it was wonderful! I've sent many friends here, and they've all had a terrific time, and they, in turn, have recommended their friends. It always feels like home, and is such a haven of peace after the madness of the Jmaa elFnaa. This time, I took my mother -... more

I booked a room at Riad Magi for my first four nights in Morocco because of the great reviews in Tripadvisor. Some people might still swear by this riad and love Maggie Perry, the owner, but I found her to be officious and not very pleasant. When I arrived at the riad, Maggie said she didn't know I would be... more

The owners, Maggie and Clay are excellent hosts who made us feel at home very quickly. Both of the maids and the manager could not do enough to help us. The Riad is a converted family home tucked away near the Medina. The rooms are spacious and airy, individually decorated with Morrocan objets trouve and furnished by local carpenters. Our... more

Absolutely stunning! Perhaps my best holiday ever. We stayed at the Riad Magi in December 2007 and did a week-long Moroccan cookery course. It was excellent. Very laid back and very friendly. All of the staff were wonderful, and made us feel very welcome. Our stay was effortless - anything we wanted they sorted, without fuss or hassle. Want a... more
