My boyfriend and I stayed at this Riad from 19 to 23 May. It's situaded in a little streed a few minutes off the southern Medina, in a lively non-touristic area bordering one of the royal residences. The area might appear rather intimidating on arrival, esp in the evening but already on our second day we realised it was perfectly... more

My friend told me that I couldn't write about how happy this hotel made me or they could never live up to the expectations. I've been traveling for 2.5 months and stayed in many hotels, this is the first time I've taken a moment to write about any of them. If you want a normal hotel that has no noise... more

We (2 couples) recently stayed for 3 nights at the Dar Mimouna and had a really enjoyable stay. Our rooms were clean and perfectly adequate and were good value for money for the price we paid. Yes, the bathrooms could have been nicer, but we weren't expecting 5 star. The staff were extremely helpful - on arrival we were given... more

Having read some previous reviews I can only imagine that the Riad Dar Minouna has either improved enormously or there are some folk out there who really ought to stick to mainstream hotels. I found my contact with the staff at Dar Mimouna to be impeccable from the outset. I booked with them directly and they arranged a driver to... more

I think there needs to be some clarification on some of the reviews posted here as there are extremes of views. Hopefully I will try and place it in the middle ground somewhere. The immediate entrance is not an 'open sewer' as suggested by another reviewer. The hotel is down a back alley and is in the old town. The... more

Booked through Expedia after reading various reviews on Expedia and Tripadvisor. This hotel is in the old part of Marrakesh, the Medina. The area is extremely crowded and somewhat down at heel. The hotel is an old, characterful building down a dark, slightly smelly / dirty alley. At night the entrance to the alley was in total darkness. Our room... more

We booked the Riad and flight through Expedia and got an excellent deal, expcially as we travelled over the Easter weekend. I contacted the Riad in advance and requested a pick up from the airport (there were 6 of us travelling and the transfer was only £10 in total). I would really recommend that you do this as the Riad... more

We had a very enjoyable three night stay at the Riad Dar Mimouna for my Mother-in-Law's 65th birthday present, taking three rooms between us. The main pluses of the hotel were: + Very friendly staff, who helped with everything from maps, restaurant recommendations and taxi bookings and who chatted to us about Moroccan culture and history. + Wonderful breakfasts on... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay here. It was a very peaceful place in a hectic city. Our room was fine. The overall cleanliness of the place was very good. Breakfast on the sunny roof terrace was an enjoyable start to the day. The location was good, away from all the noise and bustle but close enough to the... more

I will simply list the number of complaints against the ‘hotel’. On arrival we were rudely greeted by the receptionist who showed us to our room. This room not only over looked the inner court yard (i.e. had no outside window as described on the website) but actually had people dinning literally outside of the window which we had which... more
