We choose this accommodation after reading good reviews online and were not disappointed. The room and bathroom is small but you don't go to Marrakesh to spend time on your hotel room. It was very convenient to the main square and all shopping. To escape the bustle of town there is a beautiful roof terrace. We used the haman in... more

I stayed in jnane mogador for a few nights in June last year. It was a really peaceful place and I loved the setting. It was so nice to get relief from the heat or the markets - and most nights the roof terrace was empty and the friendly staff served us drinks. Booking ahead is essential - but would... more

We have stay at Jnane Mogador at the beginning of March 2008. At first, we have to walk through the main square and people keep trying to talk to us and keep saying that they will help us find the Riad. We just ignored them and kept following the direction from their map. It is 2 mins from the main... more

We booked from France by e-mail and were instructed to send a postal money order for two nights. We were advised that it would take about two weeks to go through. It’s true that they were a bit slow responding to e-mails but at least we were spared the insults that others have reported. Our double room was small and... more

We spent 3 nights here and the location was excellent only a very short walk from the main square. The hotel is in a beautiful building and although the common areas and bedroom were very presentable the bathroom was looking quite jaded. The roof terrace and breakfast (extra cost of 40Dh per person) was excellent and a welcome relaxing start... more

We decided to stay one night here after a few nights in a budget hotel elsewhere and it was nice to splash out on something nicer. The chap on the reception was friendly when we checked in, our room was on the ground floor, not very big but nicely decorated and comfortable. We left early the next morning for essa... more

I stayed at the Jnane for four nights in total during Dec 07 at the start and end of a bicycle tour up the Atlantic Coast. Good points: Very central - two minutes from Djemaa el-Fna. Clean room with good shower. Lovely roof terrace. Less good: Hard to find - worth asking for directions before trip. Very popular - service... more

We stayed at this traditional Riad in September 2007 for four nights, we booked it because my partner went to Marrakech last December and stayed there and reccomended we book it for this trip, they have a web site that we used to contact the riad initially and confirmed the availability of the room we wanted, we were then informed... more

The riad has decide to divide the old dimension of the rooms to obtain more rooms, the result in august is terrible!!!!! We were four and we decide to sleep all together in a quadruple in bedroom: the bathroom were larger than the room, !! I invite you stay away in the warm months because it’s impossible to sleep, too... more

We returned to this hotel after an excellent holiday in Marrakesh last year. We were welcomed back and, as cyclists needing space to safely store our bikes and trailers, the staff have always been helpful and friendly. Staying at this hotel, with it's beautiful decor, just adds to the charm of Marrakesh. We recommend this well priced and clean hotel... more
