We have just got back from Marrakech and we really enjoyed staying at Jnane Mogador (partner, nine-year-old daughter, assorted family and friends, and me). Good points: lovely building, beautifully decorated, great terrace for tasty breakfast, and friendly and helpful people. Not so good: one of our rooms suffered from street noise (pack ear plugs) and another suffered from Medina drain... More

We stayed here for two nights and right from the beginning we noticed that they were too eager for money. They wanted us to pay right away and, because they insisted, we said that we'd pay only for the first night. They gave us a room on the ground floor, by the reception and therefore, very noisy. It was also... More

I was only going to stay three nights, but extended my stay to 8 nights as I felt comfortable there and the price and location was right. All the staff are very helpful and really looked after me. They booked several tours which were cheaper than if you organised yourself. I was a me to l Pay by credit card... More

Stayed for 2 nights at start of our trip. The riad arranged a taxi transfer from the airport, which was worth the money as we landed at gone 11pm and didn't want to spend ages looking for the way riad. The room was compact, but perfectly OK. The shower was good. The only issue is that the courtyard produces a... More

The best thing about this riad is the location. It is right smack in the middle of the medina and is only around 5 minutes from the Jmaa El Fna. The riad itself has a very authentic feel - just as you would expect based on movies. It is small, and due to this, noise from people chatting outside their... More

Location is definitely the main selling point. A stone's throw away from the Djema el-Fna but still pretty tranquil. Just remember that you probably will be woken by the Call to Prayer at some point. Rooms are relatively small and hardly luxury, but then no worse (and probably better) than what I was expecting for the money. Wifi worked pretty... More

We had no reservation, they were very welcoming. The staff was very friendly. First night we had a room without airco, then we moved to a room with airco (very comfortable in the summer!!). Rooms are nice, bit noisy. Breakfast is very good! We had two times dinner on the rooftop, which was also very good! Riad is 2 minutes... More

Location is probably the best feature for the riad. Rooms were small but adequate and wifi provided Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Staff were good except for one person who started to try to insist on payment when we returned one evening. Would probably not stay here again

Nice hotel just 2 mins away from the main square. Not too fancy or something but looks like a real old riad (traditional house) and it's not expensive (something like 39€ for a double room). The night shift is a nice guy with good English, helpful and funny. Spent there only one night but it was great, as it's at... More
