Place was average. Beds appeared to be clean enough, and the rooms were small, but expected that. For the price, it was okay and didn't expect anything more than what I got. I found the staff to be friendly enough, but definitely would put this place more on par with a motel rather than a full service hotel. Washrooms were... more

This hotel is part of the reason I would return to Marrakesh. The very Morrocan design and furnishings felt like you were in another world. It's located very close to the main plaza. Our room was neat, clean, roomy and the beds were comfy. The tiled en suite bathroom was a nice surprise. We ate a Morrocan-style dinner in the... more

Stayed here for 3 nights. Was very easy to find, literally 2 mins off the square - perfect location. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was atmospheric and we were glad to find blankets and heaters for the cold nights!!! Lunch was lovely and the terrace has wonderful views!! only gripes - no bin and... more

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. The riad is very beautiful!! Rooms are small but it was the first place we stayed in during our 2 weeks that had really hot water and it stayed hot!! What a luxury!! It was very cold while were there and it was a treat to find extra blankets in the closet... more

My husband and I spent 4 nights here at the end of November. We were delighted with the general ambience of this reasonably priced Riad. The location is great ,just off the Djemaa el Fna Square, the room was very clean and cosy and a heater was provided for the colder evenings. Breakfast and afternoon tea on the terrace were... more

Location is fantastic. Literally 2 minutes walk from the Jemaa El Fna, the centre of the city. Rooms are small but that wasn't a problem for us. Very little storage space so don't take too much clothing. As others have said, don't expect to pay your bill by credit card, "our mahine isn't working" was what we were told. Luckily... more

We had emailed the hotel to find out if they had a room available, which they said they did. The emailed us back requesting for us to confirm with them, and let them know what time we would be arriving - which we did. We assumed this was the booking confirmed, but when we arrived they had no record of... more

I stayed in a twin room here for two nights. The both of us paid 16Euros per person per night. Upon arrival on the outer walls of the madina, we paid a man with a cart to carry our things for us and lead us to the hotel, which was very cheap and convenient. (Do this or you might just... more

maybe i was expecting too much from the guidebook reviews and also their outdated over strict changes policy made me feel a bit cranky - tip to fellow travellers make sure they get your dates right in the confirmation emails as ours were wrong and they made us pay for the extra nights. we were in the suite which supposedly... more

The hotel website can be accessed at http://www.jnanemogador.com and gives an accurate impression of the hotel itself. The experience of booking the room was rather comlicated as they wanted card details or a cash transfer to secure the room. I was a little bit nervous about this, but it was totally fine. Access to and from the hotel via taxi... more
