My wife and I love the Riad Tchaikana. Originally, we were going to stay in Marrakech for two nights; but in part, due to our amazing experience at Riad Tchaikana, we ended up staying four nights. The rooms and bathrooms in the Riad Tchaikana are sizable and extremely clean. The breakfast comprising of bread, pastries, coffee, fresh orange juice, and... More

The Tchaikana is one of those special places ......It is a welcome oasis away from the amazing but constant bustle of the Marrakech Souk....In the center on the Medina, it is a beautiful and peaceful place to begin the day with a fantastic breakfast..... and end the day with one on the best dinners you will have as you travel... The Riad Tchaikana is an absolute dream! Even more beautiful than the photos on the web-site (I recommend one of the suites w/fireplace, especially in winter months – see picture of “Door”). It is very well situated in the Heart of The Medina. The staff is kind, attentive and courteous (a special thanks to Abdul and Fatima). Breakfast every morning... More

Absolutely lovely riad in the middle of the Souk maze. An oasis of calm, beatifully decorated with the friendliest of owners! Worth the Morocco trip in itself! BTW: will never forget the orange juice during rooftop breakfast :)

We stayed 4 nights and I highly recommend this riad. Clean, spacious with comfortable beds. Jean Francois, the owner, was there for breakfast and drinks before dinner to chat and answer any question. The staff were courteous and helpful. About 10 minutes walk from the main square with many interesting sights along the way.

We have just had a fantastic few days in Marrakech. What made this such a brilliant experience was Jean Francois at Tchaikana. It is a place of calm and tranquility amidst the frantic hustle and bustle of Marrakech- a perfect contrast. Jean Francois also encourged the guests to meet up for drinks each evening before eating which made for a... More

We stayed 4 nights in this riad recently and had a great time. From the huge room to the relaxed patio, the sunny roof terrace and the lovely host, Jean-Francois, this is a dream place to stay in. The owner is very aware of the state of shock you are in when you arrive through the small alleys of the... More

A friend and I stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of June. We really appreciated the generous hospitality of the owner, Jean Francois. Always willing to give advice on the area, book taxis, organise trips etc. The riad itself was a welcome oasis from the medina mayhem and the sometimes overwhelming heat. The rooms themselves were lovely and... More

My friends and I stayed at Tchaikana last week. We really liked it and enjoyed the "aperitif" offered in the evening (at 7.00 PM) and Jean-François's (the owner) detailed information on everything we needed. All the team (house masters, taxi drivers...) is friendly and reliable. He and his wife Delphine, made a gorgeus place to stay where you can relax... More

A stylish Riad that is very close to the main square (Jemma el Fna) in the centre of Marrakech. Would recommend that pre-arrival, you ask the Riad owner, Jean-Francois Claeys, to organise a taxi to meet you at the airport. Cars cannot infiltrate the medina where the riad is situated, so the taxi stops (fairly) close to the riad and... More
