We saw the other posts on Trip Advisor praising Dar Pangal and this was the major reason we made this reservation. We have travelled the world extensively but this place was abyssimmal. Since we can compare this place with other places we stayed in Morocco, we would rate this place at the bottom of the barrel. We had booked for... more

Julio and Salal were wonderful and so helpful. They really made it feel like you were at home rather than in a hotel. Location apepars to be far but really isn't. It's simple but really has all you need. more

What can I say, the previous review has said it all! Lovely place, Salah was very helpful, and even though it looks quite away from the Souks on the map, it really isn't - a 15 - 20 minute walk. Overall felt very safe in Marrakech, the locals were friendly and helpful - just watch out for the young boys... more

We spent 3 nights at Dar Pangal. It is in the medina and absolutely charming. Julio, the owner, and Salah, his assistant, were gracious and helpful in answering our questions. The rooms surround a beautiful courtyard filled with flowers and orange trees. There is another garden on the roof. Breakfast was delicious. Dar Pangal is clean, quiet and in the... more

We stayed for three days at the Dar Pangal which is a Riad (typical house in the medina) in the old part of Marrakesch. The owner, Julio is super helpful responded very quickly to our emails, and helped us with hints, reservations for transport between Casa , the mountains and Marrakesch. His assistant. Sallah, was always there to help us... more

My wife and I stayed at the Dar Pangal in May 2007. The hotel is down a small alley and has no sign. To walk from the Dar to the Djemma El Fna square takes about 20 minutes down the Rue De La Kasba. Room: Our room was on the roof of the Dar with a beautiful view of the... more

Contacted this place based on the book "Special Places to Stay" by Alistair Sawday. This place is a bit hard to find as it is located near the end of a blind ally. We were offered to be picked up by the staff at the train station, but due to train delay we missed them and therefore had hard time... more
