The Staff are very very very very friendly, they are always smiling and happy to help you with anything you need. The Concierge is very up to dated and know a lot about the culture and nice places to go. The hotel is clean and beautiful decorated and comfortable. They work to bring you the best to make you feel... More

I recently booked a private cookery class at Dar Les Cigones for myself and a friend who was visiting. I expected it to be somewhat difficult to accommodate as we had many dietary requirements not least of which was being vegan (not easy in Morocco). Pierre and his team managed to pull off a scrumptious Moroccan feast and made it... More

We had an absolutely magical time at Dar les Cigognes. Our room was beautiful with a huge bed with gorgeous linen and a stunning antique inlaid wardrobe. The bathroom begged to be languished in with a large stone bath and plenty of lovely toiletries to indulge in. Everything little thing was carefully thought out - we even had milk and... More

2nd visit to Marrakech, this time for a special birthday. Chose to stay here as strong "foodie" links. Good location but fairly busy road just outside the door though this makes transport easier. It's been kept as traditional as possible inside, no modern makeovers thankfully. Room was rustic but comfortable. Lots of nooks and crannies in the public areas. Lovely... More

Thanks to my companion for providing notes on Dar Les Cigognes - traditional looking old Riad within Marrakech Medina - within walking distance to Badia and Bahai palace - secure given that we had to knock each time we wanted to enter - very friendly staff and very helpful housekeeping. - Receptionist gave us a map and introduced us to... Even if I live in Rome, I traveled extensively to Morocco many, many times for work reasons. I discovered this riad several yeras ago, just a brief span of time since its opening : it was fabulous then, and is still fabulous now. It was refurbished from the most prominent Architect in traditional Morocco, Charles Boccara - who took good... More

set out on a tour of the old city and some of the most beautiful, authentic and refurbished Riad’s in Marrakesh, like the Dar Les Cigognes part of the Sanssouci Collection group. This particular Riad smelled, looked, and felt like a bona fide mini palace from the past. A Riad is a traditional Arab house, traditionally an interior world, which... More

The dar (which stands for a small riad) was renovated with great taste! Enjoy your breakfast or drink on the roof top, admiring the "cigognes" flying over yr heads! Wow! It's amazing! We tried two rooms: regular and suite. All comfort is there and even more. The suite even has it s own lovely living room. Staff extremely friendly. Well... More

The Riad Dar Les Cigognes exceeded our expectations from start to finish and made for a perfect retreat for our family. General Manager Pierre and his team including Sana and Lemia run a great operation and could not be more welcoming and obliging. Nothing was any trouble at any time of day. We visited for 4 days in Dec with... More

We recently spend two nights at this wonderful riad and can't say enough great things about it! We were greeted at 2 a.m. by a wonderful gentleman who served us mint tea and cookies- a welcome treat after over 20 hours of travel! Our room was very clean, well appointed with necessities (though no clock, but that was fine as... More
