This is our 3rd year coming to Dar Zemora with our daughter who is now 2.5. This is just the best place we have ever stayed at (and continues to be). the staff make every effort to make everything perfect so thank you so much especially Youseff, Amina, Achef, and Zahara and all the babysitters! It is so nice to... More

This wonderful, small hotel is luxurious and the charming staff are extremely attentive and discreet. It's a very special place. Huge Moroccan baths in each bathroom, hot water bottles in your bed on a cold night, delicious breakfasts. The pool area is really nice and there are lovely rooms to curl up in with a drink, some almonds and a... More

My wife treated me to a long weekend here for our first visit to Marrakech. I couldn't be more pleased with her choice. We loved their attentiveness to our every need, the rose-petal filled surprise bath for my birthday, lit by a multitude of candles and warmed by an open fire. It was every bit the romantic getaway I had... More

Dar Zemora is definitely to place to stay if you want to get away from the hurly burly of the Medina. It is so difficult to find, someone had to meet our taxi on his scooter and direct us to the hotel which is hidden behind the grand walls of fine houses in the Palmerie. The district is quite impersonal... More

Thank you for your review and comments. Dar Zemora is situated in The Palmeraie, a luxurious and peaceful district of Marrakech characterised by lush palm trees, fine houses and golf courses. The Medina, housing Djemaa el Fna and the Souks is approximately 15 minutes away by taxi, however it is this short distance from chaotic Medina life which draws people... More

A wonderful stay under the care of Youssef and the attentive staff of Dar Zemora; we could not have been better looked after if we had been guests at an Ambassador's residence. First class service with the friendliest touch. After a week we felt completely rested having enjoyed the ambience of the house and it's utterly beautiful expansive garden which... More

Congratulations to Lindsay and Paul Kentish for managing to keep this oasis as beautiful as it was when it first opened! The staff was so helpful and Joseph can not do enough to make sure your guests feel special! The food is great! Really I could not have expected a better stay! I cannot wait to go back, hopefully not... More

My daughter and I stayed in Dar Zemora for four nights in March 2015. We had two rooms, both large, clean and airy and tastefully designed. The gardens are exquisite, so calm and full of birds, a tortoise or two and a pond full of rather noisy frogs. The pool is large and clean, but unheated, which as it was... More

Thank you for your lovely review; we are glad you and your daughter enjoyed your recent stay. So you know for future visits, the pool is heated using solar panels in the winter, but the water will not be ‘hot’ until the long summer months. Our chef Jamilla enjoyed cooking for you – the standard of her cooking is locally... More

We really enjoyed staying here. It is a small, intimate hotel and has the feel of staying in a luxurious private home. The gardens are very beautiful. The staff are exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The pool suite worked very well for a family stay. It is only a few minutes by taxi from the centre of town but it was... More

Just twenty minutes from the centre of Marrakech Dar Zemora is the ideal location to unwind after the hustle and bustle of the city. We had an exceptionally comfortable upstairs suite with a wonderful roof garden. The staff were very attentive and transport to Marrakech was readily organised and a very good and entertaining guide was arranged for our visit... More

Comfortable and spotlessly clean villa with heated swimming pool in delightful garden. The food was good but not exceptional. Decor authentic Moroccan in quiet good taste. The charming, quiet and personal service from all the staff raised it into the excellent category.
