Our trip to the Diwane Hotel Marrakech was a birthday treat for my wife and flew there with an airline most people like to hate, but like it or loathe it; it gets you to your destination and back mostly on time. The Diwane Hotel is located on the corner of Rue de Yugoslavie and the other end of the... More

Well we've just come back from our short break in Morroco having stayed at the Diwane. Well what can you say, don't be put off by nagative views as we all know us British like to moan! A very pleasant hotel, with a Riad feel about it. Very helpful & pleasant staff. For 138 each half board for 3 nights(4... More

Spent 7 nights in a lovely garden-facing twin room with balcony. We booked the hotel as part of a flight + accommodation package and so had moderate expectations. Consequently, we were pleasantly surprised. Really loved the riad feel to it and the proximity to the medina and excellent restaurants in the Gueliz area. The service was more than adequate. The... Stayed for 7 nights in the hotel in a garden facing balcony twin room which was very comfortable, albeit the beds and pillows perhaps being slightly too hard for my personal taste. B&B basis and breakfast was good start for the day. Very helpful staff. Location was excellent and easy walk from the train and bus stations as well as... More

me and my partner stayed at the diwane for a week and found we had a rather pleasant experience. Due to date amendments we had opted for diwane hotel at last minute therefore we weren't so sure what to expect. However on arrival we were greeted by a lovely door man and reception staff were friendly. The loaction was fab... More

We are a family of 4, with children of 10 and 8. We are stayed here for 5 nights 29th Oct to 3rd Nov 2011. We would recommend this hotel to our friends (most of our friends being well travelled, polite, upbeat realists who don't expect everything in a foreign country to be exactly to their own personal taste) We... If you want a nice clean hotel away from them the hubbub of the central medina then this is the place to come. It was very clean and all the staff worked very hard so that you can have a most enjoyable stay. Breakfast was lovely and from what we found that lunch was better than the evening meal. But... More

We decided the book this hotel as the price was affordable (however we travelled off peak in November), but also kind of semi authentic. We wanted to book something very authentic, but they were all very expensive :-( Finally we opted for this hotel as the decor seemed to be quite authentic, so we thought wouldn't feel like staying in... A large and spacious hotel located within walking distance to most everything. The rooms were basic, but clean. Air conditioning was really handy and our room had a large flat screen television. Our room overlooked a side street and was high up which was a blessing as it can be rather noisy overlooking the main roads. As the corridors are... More
