I went to Marrakech early May 2015 with my Wife and Daughter (4 years old). After a number of yearly visits to European destinations we decided to give Marrakech a go. We got this hotel on a discount and thought it didn't look too bad (on the photos and reviews). However after 7 nights I have come back with mix... More

The Diwane has shortfalls but it is good value for money. Pros: - clean accommodation - cleaned every day - good location - quiet - helpful reception staff - pool area is a suntrap - free wifi in reception area - pleasant moorish-style design of building and content - comfortable beds - safe available in rooms - at a local... The Diwane is a very pleasant, traditional style Morrocan Hotel that is well placed to explore the city on foot. The food was not particularly exciting, although it was plentiful with sufficient choice and breakfast had plenty of variety. If you hanker for good coffee, Starbucks is just a 5 minute walk as part of a modern shopping centre; turn... More

Just returned from spending an enjoyable week at the Diwane Hotel. Whilst there I celebrated my 60th Birthday. The staff made the day extra special for me by decorating my bed with a lovely towel swan and rose petals. A lovely basket of fruits also complimented the occasion. I went with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We... More

Good value for what we paid. We were promised a pool view, but really had to strain our necks to see the pool. We mostly got building site. The atmosphere was nice though, and we did get a chance to sit by the pool. We could get Wifi in the lobby. The staff were nice, and the spa's lovely and... More

We took a £300 squeezyjet holiday for a week at this hotel (inc flights from glasgow to Marrakech). Pros: dinner very good especially the tagine, better than any in the main square. Other meals good but breakfast samey and lots of cake!!!! Hotel is well located with no 1 bus nearby straight to the medina or the panorama tour bus... More

Just come back from a week in this Hotel. Had room 215 which we found to be peaceful and quiet and viewed over the terrace garden. Now down to the review. We were greeted in a very polite and friendly manner and shown directly to our room which I loved as it was totally Morrocan in style and furnishing. Sensible... More

The hotel and staff were perfect. A beautiful tall atrium with chandelier and a friendly doorman made a welcome introduction to a foreign city. The area can seem rough for the uninitiated but all of morocco looks this way and it is actually on the major street where all the best high end shopping is in the city. It is... More
