Me and 3 friends booked this Riad through a teletext deal and were really looking forward to our trip. When we arrived there was no sign on the door to indicate we were even in the right place, we were then informed that the Riad was fully booked and we would have to move but we could come back after... If you enjoy soulless, multinational hotels, then, perhaps, this is not the place for you. But if you desire a true taste of Morocco and Marrakech, then this could be the place for you. Run like a family home by the very likeable Mustapha, the place is steeped in charm and has many unique features, not least a plunge pool... More

We loved our stay at Dar Narjis! Mustapha welcomed us with tea, maps and suggestions. Our room wasn't very nice (right next to the kitchen, not very intimate) but the next day he relocated us to a beautiful and huge room in the first floor. Breakfast is very nice and you can have it downstairs or in the terrace. The... More

We have had a wonderful week at Dar Narjis. We were met by "little" Mustafa when we arrived at this 1001 night fairytail hotel, and he has tended to our every need the whole stay. The rooms are clean, small and intimate - a little retreat in them selves. In January it was a bit cold, but nothing the heater... More

The hotel is located very nicely, max 10min walking from the markets and the main square. Its interiors are typical Moroccan and we enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere. Mostapha was really helpful with everything and always knew the answer to our questions. The rooms are a bit tired looking, but still great value.

We stayed at Dar Narjis for 1 week from 22nd-29th Jan 2013. The good: On arrival, we were greeted by "Mustapha" who was absolutely fantastic to us the whole week we stayed. Nothing was a problem and he was only too happy to give us an introduction to Marrakech and what to expect when we arrived. Having been dropped off... More

As Marrakech is very noisy and chaotic place, when you come to Dar Narjis, you realise what does mean the word rijad ( someone said it means paradise ). It's beautiful, authentic, warm place with friendly staff. It was not problem if we asked for breakfast at 6 in the morning ... everything was ready, warm and tasty :) I... More
