First time in Marrakech and we picked Riad Kniza on the strength of the consistency of the reviews. Has anyone ever given it less than 5........I doubt it. We stayed in the Oriental Room on the ground floor being the last room available at the time of booking and although not as grand as the larger suites it was very... More

Its all been said before, but is worth repeating. Riad Kniza is an extremely elegant, calm and hospitable haven amid the frenetic but enjoyable activity of the Medina. Mohammed, his family and staff provide an attentive, friendly and efficient service well beyond our expectation. It's a really great location to stay for a few days to relax in elegantly Moroccan... Stayed one night at end of visit to Morocco and were made very welcome. It's beautifully restored, ideally situated and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommended.

We have just returned from 5 nights in Marrakech, 3 of which at Riad Kniza. This Riad is wonderful, beautifully decorated, the best service ever, nothing was too much trouble for the owner Mohammed and his son Kamal. The peace and tranquility of returning here after the chaos and bustle of the Medina was fabulous. Its situated just in the... More

A little gem in the heart of the souk. We spent 3 restful days here after trekking in the Atlas Mountains and made a wonderful conclusion to our stay in Morocco. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful and this riad rightly justifies the praise by other reviewers

From the moment we arrived our 9 day stay was seamless. We never waited a moment, everyone was at our beck and call. The staff is so accommodating and generous and friendly. Anything we wanted was handed to us. The food was unbelievable!!! We loved the suites, the courtyard and the terrace on the roof is simply magical when the... More

My wife and I spent a week at Riad Kniza and loved it. A true oasis of charm and hospitality, we loved the place, the staff, the service, and the ambience. Starting with the place itself, it is superbly appointed and decorated. There's a real feeling of peace and serenity when you enter the courtyard with its fountain. In every... More

Superb; the Kniza and its staff cannot be faulted. Our accommodation was exceptional, the food was great, the organisation of all our trips and transfers was perfect... The location is also ideal – although within the Medina (a little way inside from the Bab Doukkala, about 15 minutes walk to the Djemma el Fna), it is also not far from... More

Arrived at the Riad for our three night stay to find an oasis of calm amongst the noise, smells and unusual sights of the old walled Medina. It realy is a different experience from the norm and you cant wait to get out and explore after your unusual arrival. You are met by a porter at the outskirts of the... More

Riad kniza is a jewel in the crown of the fascinating royal city of marrackech. Good value for money, deliciousely well prepared food and in perfect location. The family owners have a genuine warmth and the staff seemed to really enjoy meeting new guests. If you don't enjoy your stay, then it's not the fault of this Riad. Elaine &... More
