When you first arrive in Bab Doukalla (where the riad is) it is in the middle of a market used by the people of Marrakech. You turn down a small side road and find Riad Kniza. Noise from the market outside evaporates as you walk in. This place is wonderful, you are looked after from the moment you arrive to... More

We were two families, six of us, who stayed at the Riad Kniza in December. It is a an excellent place with a very friendly proprietor who will do anything for you and is most helpful about where to go and what to do in Marrakesh. Rooms are fabulous. Ours had an open fire which the staff would light every... More

Having travelled extensively around the world, and stayed in some of the most reknown and luxurious hotels, Riad Kniza was truly one of our family's favorite experiences, a warm, personal, service-oriented, and exquisitely appointed gem that we are so grateful to have discovered. We don't often find ourselves in small hotels, but after this stay, we are going to make... More

The tranquil Riad Kniza has a unique atmosphere of a luxury guesthouse. Located in the heart of Marrakech's medina, it is like a world in itself, especially in comparison to the hustle and bustle of the outside. The interiors are lovingly restored with taste and attention to every detail. Full of hand-made antiques it has a truly luxurious feel. We... More

We stayed 4 nights at Riad Kniza 29 November-2 December, 2007. Our time in Marrakech was hands-down the most amazing trip we've ever taken. This was due, in large part, to the peaceful oasis provided by Kamal and the entire staff at Riad Kniza. The sensory overload that, to me, defines Marrakech, was perfectly balanced by the serenity of Riad... More

I booked 4 nights at the Kniza for my husband's surprise get away present. The reviews I read here on trip advisor all pointed to this Riad to find luxury, great food and renown hospitality... but we found more than that. It was like a second home. From the minute you walk in, to the sad moment you have to... More

Staying at Riad Kniza is like visiting your favorite friends, who happen to live in tasteful luxury. The total serenity is amazing. Service is thoughtful and friendly, and there's nothing you ask for that can't be arranged. We had a delightful stay.

After attending cooking classes in Marrakech I stayed 2 nights at Riad Kniza before embarking on travels in Morocco. It was the most wonderful experience - a haven from the busyness of the city , but with easy access to the Medina and new town - where I was looked after exceptionally well by Kamal and his staff. The standard... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in two separate suites---our preference was for the two story suite because of its shower. Although typical of French hotels and I guess then Moroccan ones, we do not like bathtubs without curtains or doors to keep the water off the floor. The service in the Riad was exemplary. Every request was met and... More

We have just returned from the Riad Kniza. You get out of the taxi from the airport and step into a whole new world! That feeling i don't think i will ever forget. The sights, the warmth, the scents, attack all the senses at once. A few yards to the Riad and another world opened. When the door closed you... More
