We stayed at Riad Kniza for 4 nights for a short October break. I probably don't have the vocabulary to describe our wonderful experience but I'll try. The airport pick up, and short drive to the Medina was perfect. We were greeted by the owner who ushered us into a quiet side room in the Riad while our bags were... more

We have traveled extensively and been lucky enough to stay in some of the worlds most exclusive hotels and the Royal Suite at this Riad compares with the best. The whole Riad conveys a feeling of authenticity and the extensive renovations have been carried out sympathetically and tastefully. Nothing was too much trouble for the the staff and the owner... more

Just back from 3 nights. It is a great spot to retreat to from your adventures in Morocco. Heat was high in Marrakech so I mixed it up with day trip to Essaouria (visit the woman's coop selling direct goods) and to Atlast mountains. The staff at Riad Kniza were outstanding. I had to stay 4th night in a different... more

The first thing that strikes you about the Riad is its calm coolness. Set in the middle of Marrakech, you literally step from the mannered chaos of the streets into the Riad. The tranquility in its courtyard is sublime. There is a wonderfully powerful aroma of jasmine lurking in the corners of the building. The Riad itself appears nondescript from... more

I can't imagine that there is a better place to stay in Marrakech. This Riad is beautifully restored with the finest craftsmanship. The staff there is perfectly attentive and readily available to meet any request. We arrived on the late train from Casablanca and the hotel had a car waiting for us at the station after midnight. The guide included... more

A warm, hospitable, welcoming and thoroughly enjoyable experience to stay here...like being in someone's private home and treated as an honored guest. Staff is smiling and friendly, and the accommodations are very clean and comfortable with charming Moroccan details - tired when I checked in, I awoke after a short nap in my room to enjoy the beautiful carved domed... more

This riad is pronounced Ker-nee-zer. It is located just inside the medina and can be a bit difficult to find (2 taxi drivers really struggled but got there in the end) but don't let that put you off as it is a real oasis from the mayhem outside. However it would be a definite advantage to speak and/or understand French... more

We spent 5 nights at Riad Kniza and were thoroughly impressed. The scent of jasmine in the courtyard was intoxicating. Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming for my partner and I and the service was excellent. My favorite meal of the entire trip was in the Riad on our last night. After a full week of touring the area we... more

Aside from excellent accomodations and superb hospitality, the staff went out of their way to help uw with our extensive travel plans throughout Morocco, AFTER we had departed. Kamal was able to save us a great deal of money arranging private guides with new SUV's for half the best price we could find elsewhere. Hi adivce on where to stay... more
