Stayed on two occasions here during our week in Morocco. Hotel is old, dilapidated and falling apart. Decor, furnishings and things like bathroom fixtures need complete refurbishing. Restaurant food including breakfasts and dinners were cafeteria style at best and not tasty at all. No WiFi in the rooms. Definitely NOT a 4-star place all around. Staff did not try very... More

The hotel is clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about 15/20 minutes walk from the main square. Visited in January the days were warm the nights cold. The rooms are adequate, no hairdryer, but beds were comfortable and a reasonable shower, The breakfast was more than adequate. Not much to do around the hotel but... More

we stayed here for 3 nights, had asked for a double bed and high floor (away from road noise a must!), very accomodating and welcoming on arrival. Room was clean, a bit dated but perfectly good. TV with remote, air con (with warm air option - it was quite cold in the night), one channel on tv that we watched,... More

we went for 7 nights , the hotel is ideally located in the centre, jama el fena the Square is only 10 min away if you can find those short cut through ancient market (Souk). Train station is also 10 min away so is the Posh market "Central marche" . Bus station is only 2 min away. A large super... More

The location of the hotel is of extreme usefulness if you want to try to come from the Royal Palace outside the maze of the Mdina and walking by the Wall. You will get the Bus interface and then the crossroad where the hotel is. Also, a good location to visit the Yves Saint-Laurent related Majorele House Garden and Museum.... More

I stayed at this hotel as part of a budget break to Marrakech bought through an airline website. I therefore didn't choose it specifically and was anxious when I found out where I was staying and read some of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room was clean (if a... More

Dirty carpets, disgusting toilet, rooms Service is very bad. Even you need to beg for hot water. They will only serve you bread and boiled eggs every morning. These people do not know what is good service...

Not a good start when the guy behind the reception desk tried to double the tax. He claimed there were two different types of tax to pay. I wrote on a piece of paper 11 x 2 people x 3 nights = 66 and he grudgingly accepted. We opted for a room on the 5th floor at the back (overlooking... More

The room and breakfast were not so bad, but on the last day I found £50 missing from my bag. The thief/maid was good enough to leave £40, maybe so that I would be less likely to notice? When I reported it to the manager his response was "The maid has worked here for 6 years and has 4 children... More
