October was the 2nd time we stayed at the Riyad el Cadi - the first time was back in May when we went there to check the place out. My (now) husband and I were planning a wedding party in Marrakech and were looking for a suitable venue to not only hold it, but also to have all our friends... more

Riyad El Cadi was the perfect spot. A restful respite from the buzz of the main square in Marrakech. Gorgeous and enormous rooms with traditional decor... delicious and memorable breakfast under a tent on a sofa on the roof terrace... peaceful dinner in the courtyard. Very helpful front desk staff. They arranged everything and it was all memorable and seamless.... more

We stayed here with two other couples for four nights. The location is excellent, with the Jemaa El Fna only a 5 minute walk away, and other sites in Marrakesh within walking distance. The Riad is located down a set of quiet alleys and consists of several buildings connected together. Thus, there are several different courtyards, one with a tiny... more

Having never been anywhere like Marrakesh before we had the most wonderful experience here for a long weekend, we emerged into the hustle and bustle that is Marrakesh and when we had had enough we retreated back into the Riyad into calm and tranquility. The staff could not have been more helpful and if we needed a guide or to... more

A very stylish riad with helpful and friendly people! We loved that we felt that if we were almost alone here. You barely see other guests and feel like you are in your own paradise :-) The roof terrace is huge and offers a great view to the snowcapped mountains! Strongly recommend it for a "1001 night" experience more

My husband and me, we spent in March 2009 4 nights in the El Cadi. We are a german couple around 50. The change is amazing from the loud medina to the quiet Riyad El Cadi. It makes you calm staying there. Every morning we had breakfast on the roof, fresh orange juice, yoghurt, croissants, marocain bread and of course... more

When we arrived it was like Dr Who's tardis. You get the impression that it is small but in fact once inside it spread over five buildings. The location was absolutelly perfect, literally seconds away from the Plaza Jamma El Fna (Souks) which is full of stalls , entertainers and Bazaars selling leather right through to carpets. At night several... more

We stayed with our two young children (6 and 8 years old) and had a fantastic stay. Great food, great location, great service! This Riyad is minutes from Djemaa El Fna and the bazaars, but quiet and tranquil. The hotel staff is amazing organized our subsequent travels throughout Morocco. The Riyad is almost a museum, with antiques decorating the entire... more

An incredibly elegant, charming riad just steps from the central square in Marrakech. The owner and staff were gracious and helpful and the food was excellent. The breakfasts on the roof are very special, with incredible views of the Atlas Mountains in the distance. The riad is actually several buildings put together, creating a delightful sense of a grand palace... more
