Well located riad. Bruno and his team looked after us very well. Great breakfast served at whenever time we asked even at 11.00 when our teenagers dragged themselves out of bed!! Great terrasse where you can watch the stocks nesting.

Came as a family. The courtyard suite is massive and we loved the space - spacious for a family of 5. Place was clean and comfortable, albeit without frills. There is a little bit of a run-down feel about the place - but in some ways this added to its charm. The reception was functional and friendly. Breakfast standard, and... More

Stayed here with 4 friends during July. Picked up from airport and taken to riad. We stayed in the junior suite which was very good value. Breakfast was plentiful every morning. Staff very friendly and the 'maid' was around during the day if needed and was very helpful and flexible with breakfast timings. Only 5-10 mins walk from the square... More

This a budget riad, but it is truly peaceful, with a great terrace from which storks can be heard and seen. Our room on the upper level was large but a bit dark. Location is great, but it is hard to find! Don't confuse this with the Dar les Cigognes! I would return, but this is definitely a budget riad.... More

If I ever go back to Marrakech, I will definitely choose Les Cigognes again. I will try to highlight what I liked so much about it: - the room was very large and beautifully decorated; - the breakfast was very generous and fresh (tea, coffee, milk, bread, fresh orange juice, pancakes, grapes etc.); - the price was very good considering... a lot to say about it , surrounded by monuments, saadian tombs, badii palace, bahia palace, jamai elfena square, quite ryad, very sympathic owners Bruno and Rachida.

We stayed for 2 nights at this riad at the beginning of our week in Marrakech. The riad is situated in a much quieter part of the Medina which is great and generally has a very relaxed atmosphere. The central garden to the riad was the best we have seen throughout our trip and the staff were very helpful. Nothing... More

The location was great - an easy walk to the Jemaa el Fna and close to the royal palaces. I was amazed how quiet the place was (apart from the storks!!) despite being so close to the centre of the action. The riad didn't quite live up to the photos - it was a little more rough around the edges... More

The ryad was an oasis of calm in the middle of the noisy, dirtylike city. It was beautiful! We arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport when we booked the trip. We wouldn't be able to find this ryad otherwise! The city is a big maze and the final 300 meters from the taxi to the... More

I stayed here for 6 nights; 5 nights in room 1 ( beautifull mosaic room, big bathroom but a little bit musty and 1 night in room 4 ( bigger room, smaller bathroom but better than in room 1). Breakfast is served everywhere you wanted in the Ryiad, on the roof terrace with view on the storks or at the... More
