Claudie and Franck are the nicest hosts I've ever met. They know Marrakech inside out and will give you the best advice about the city, where to go and what to do. The Riad is perfect, close to the airport (Claudie and Franck will arrange pickup.), 5 mins walk to the mad main Square and great aircon!!!

My wife and I, along with three friends visited Marrakech for my wife's 30th in March 2015. We hired the entire Riad for three nights and had the most incredible experience. Riad Alena is an oasis in the middle of Marrakech. It's a perfect mix of traditional design and modern comforts, perfectly located within walking distance of the souk and... More

Riad Alena is charming, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located. The typical Maroccan architecture and tasteful furnishings make this B&B lovely and comfortable. The temperatures mid February (winter!) were cool, and the heating in the rooms was fabulous, making night time very cosy. Plenty of very hot water, comfortable beds, and a good hair dryer was a real bonus. The delightful... More

My friend and I visited Marrakesh for a few days and stayed two nights at Riad Alena. You enter through an unassuming wooden door down a small back lane but inside is astonishingly beautiful with a central courtyard / eating area and very roomy accommodation, decked out in a very traditional style. The owners, Franke and Claudie are absolutely wonderful... More

I'm not sure I have the words to describe what a wonderful experience I had staying at Riad Alena. Claudie and Frank are the most wonderful hosts. They made themselves available to help, answer questions and put themselves out to ensure we had the best experience possible in Marrakech, even giving up their own time to suggest, show and take... I just really enjoyed my two nights at Riad Alena. Ask in a local shop by the Bab Laksour if you have trouble locating. Hosts were amazing, riad is exactly what I hoped for, breakfast was huge, and location very close to all the action. After the craziness of the square at night it was the perfect base. Walking distance... More

Riad Alena ended up being the best choice we could have made for our long weekend in Marrakech. It couldn't be better located, as it's right in the centre about a 5 minute walk away from the famous Jemaa el Fna square. The area is also very safe and as 2 girls we didn't have any issues walking back late... More

From the moment you set your foot in, you are greeted by the warmest, genuine welcome which continues till you finally say goodbye. Alena Riad is run by the loveliest couple who genuinely know how to run a hospitality business. The riad is incredibly clean, beautifully and cleverly furnished, easy to get to, conveniently located and honestly priced. The breakfast... More

We are just back from a great trip to Marrakesch. We stayed in Riad Alena and it was, by far, the best choice we could have ever made. The Riad is awesome, nice, charming, clean and cosy, but what makes it more special is Claudie and Frank, the owners. From the very first moment they were extremely helpful: they booked... More

We spent only 2 nights here of our 14 in Morocco, but this riad was by far the best. It is a small oasis just steps from the hustle and bustle of the medina. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well decorated. Be careful of the beds! They are so comfortable you will not want to get up to go... More
