Stayed here as a couple of students on a budget and were pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The breakfast was great, and despite the hotel being about a 20 minute walk from the main square we found it was a nice and quiet location. The staff were amazing - especially Mustafa who went out especially to get us... More

We just arrived back to Dublin after a lovely stay at Dar Dubai. All the staff, especially Mustafa and Salima went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The Riad is in an ideal location, walking distance (15 mins at a leisurely pace) from the Souks and the square in a quieter part of the Medina, but with a... More

It is in a corner of the medina, so once you take the path once or twice, it is not that hard to reach. It is in a local part of town, so you get to see and experience how locals live (children playing on the street, butchers hanging meat on their windows...) and it can be shocking at first,... More

We had an amazing time, the services were excellent and staff were very polite also helpful. we enjoyed talking to Mustafa and Sulimen also the housekeeping staff Fatima, it felt like one big happy family. The hotel is close to the square so you can walk to the shop's whenever you want. The only down side is as a family... More

Originally booked up the Riad Qodwa, but got an email before travelling saying we were re-located to Riad Dar Dubai (owned by the same people). Result! Riad Dar Dubai is built into the wall of the Medina, and in the Kasbah. Easy walk into the action, which even at the end of January was full on. We had the big... More

Nice, clean and friendly Riad tucked away in the Kasbah. Stayed 13th to 17th Jan 2014. Basic but very clean rooms, our room had no tv or tea/coffee making facility which did not bother us at all but worthy of mention if you want the news etc. Breakfast was fresh and nice if the weather is nice sit on the... We stayed here for three nights, in the large room on the second floor. It was massive! We had a separate living room, a beautiful tiled fireplace in our big bedroom, and a large bathroom with beautiful tilework and a big bathtub. Lots of hot water as well. It got a little chilly at night, but the bed had tons... More

Not a bad choice as a budget B&B. It is clean but very threadbare and tired. The staff were great though, very helpful and obliging. Continental breakfast was terrific, more than we could manage. On the down side the beds were terrible, very hard. Also no pillows as such, just heavily brocaded cushions which leave interesting patterns on the side... More

This was our first time in Morocco and my partner and I wanted a more traditional experience than what big name hotels offer. This charming little place is located in the Medina of Marrakech and is about a 15 minute walk from the old city or about 20-30 minute walk from the new city. This was perfect for us as... More

Stayed there in october for 5 nights. nice place with friendly staff. room is ok, not more than that. the bed isn't comfortable. the dar is inside the medina (old city), but quiet far from the main tourist attractions (15-20 minutes walk). I didn't mind that because i love to walk, but still... either way, taxis are cheap. bottom line... More
