I have been lucky enough to have visited Marrakesh a few times over the years and this riad is definitely my favourite so far. My group of 6 arrived later afternoon and after a bustly hot dusty walk through the chaos of Marrakesh, we entered the riad and were greeted calmly and graciously by the delightful Hayat. An oasis -... More

There are so many glowing reviews about this riad but they don't tell the whole story. Yes, it is a great location, just steps away from Djemaa el Fna and it is every inch the traditional riad, including being blissfully peaceful. Several hundred years old, it delivers all of the character and charm which one would expect from such an... More

My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights towards the end of August and we loved the place! It is an oasis in busy and sometimes overwhelming Marrakech. Rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the rest of the Riad is equally breathtaking. Courtyard is wonderful to have breakfast in or to sit in the evening drinking mint tea... More

We booked this Riad after reading the reviews however in reality it was not up to the mark .Having stayed in couple of Riads earlier in Marrakesh and Fes I know how homely and welcoming they can be , Kaiss was in stark contrast to the riad style of hospitality. I had booked online through a hotel booking engine ,... More

Thanks for taking the time to review us. Sometimes just about anything that could go wrong, does go wrong. It was very helpful, however, to have so much practical feedback with which to follow up with the staff. None of this, however, is typical of a stay. Unfortunately, this guest stayed during the annual leave of the Resident Manager. The... More

Riad Kaiss is a lovely Hotel in a traditional Moroccan building in the old quarter full of cool tile, shade trees, fountains and winding staircases-absolutely stunning. The staff were fantastic and so was the food. All the rooms were absolutely gorgeous. I would recommended this delightful oasis to anyone planning a trip to Marrakesh

Riad Kaiss is a beautiful hotel tucked away from the hussle and bustle of the souks. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and they made sure I had everything I needed.I would definitely recommend staying here if you want an authentic experience of a riad, I can't wait to go back again!

The Riad Kaiss is beautiful and has miraculously kept the charm that much of the old town has lost since I last visited Marrakech 20 years ago. On arrival one is transported back in time, surrounded by bird song, beautiful authentique architecture and able to completely escape the hustle and bustle of the city outside its walls. The manager Hyat... More

This Riad tucked away from the main square really was an oasis for my husband and I. We stayed here for my 40th Birthday and it was the first holiday in a long time without our children - it did not disappoint. The initial responses from the staff is email after we booked were prompt and friendly. the welcome was... More

Riad Kaiss is delightful and made more so by the charming Hayat and her staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. Kaiss has a very large courtyard to relax and eat in, the Riad still has many original features and maintains the feel of an ancient place, but is comfortable. We had a suite which was a bedroom and... More

Small number of rooms with attentive but unobtrusive staff. Great location within walking distance of anything in the medina, and a short cab ride to the Marjorelle Garden. Hayat took excellent care of us, providing directions, letting us know what things should cost and making reservations on our behalf. My favourite part of the day was breakfast in the garden... More
