My first trip to Marrakech was spend, courtesy of some marvellous friends, at Riad Enija. We were celebrating a special birthday and we were stunned by this p(a)lace. The service was exceptional, the welcome excellent. I find it hard to make a suggestion of improvement. The ladies had pampering sessions and I had the Moroccan cookery course in the Riad.... More

it incredibly happened that a mobile phone was stolen in a room during breakfast ! we believe the theft was done by a staff member who came in the room for checking the shower. the owners were ineffective in recovering it despite the local police involvement. this is unfortunate but simply not acceptable in a top resort like this one. After spending a week in the Sahara we arrived at the door of Riad Enija, dusty, worn and on guard having being raced through a alleyways by a stranger. We were greeted and taken through this amazing garden, upstairs and through this door to the most beautiful room you could not 'imagine' for yourself because there is nothing like it.... More

We stayed in two riads on our trip, and while Enija was objectively fairly nice, we enjoyed it quite a bit less than the other place which was 30% lower in price (if only we had started the trip here vs end it @ Enija). The overpriced and low-value feedback from others is farily consistent, the location is great (that... More

For almost 400€ a night you can find much better places anywhere in the world. Nice riad, especially the spacious garden and quiet terraces, in need of a bit of refurbishment (and cleaning) and contrary to most reports very basic breakfast (baguette from the day before!). Again if the price should (as it is seldom the case, unfortunately) reflect the... More

Admittedly, we booked this Riad in a hurry, and last-minute. I had contacted the hotel directly regarding their rates (since none are posted on the website). I had indicated that we wanted a room with a shower. They gave us two options for rooms and offered a bottle of champagne since it was our honeymoon -- the rates were exceptionally... More

We stayed at Riad Dyor and Dar les Cigognes and Riad Enija was twice as good as these other places. Everything is first class: decor, rooms, service, food. Stay here is you can afford it, otherwise stay at Riad Dyor (which is the best value). More

My wife and me just spent four wonderful nights at Riad Enija. We believe that this guest house is really Marakesh at its best. Very centrally located in short walking distance from the famous Jamaa El Fna. Hidden in a small alleyway Riad Enija appears to arriving guests like the opening of a treasure chest. It is built around several... More

We stayed in this Riad for 3 nights and had chosen this location to start off our holidays with a special treat. Decor wise it is stunning as well as the view from the roof terrace over the medina. We arrived late and where welcomed by a courteous staff member. The room had a wonderful decoration; bedlinen nothing special and... More

I stayed with my wife at Riad Enija for 5 days during early May. The riad is a hidden gem thanks to the excellent taste of Bjorn and Ursula. This riad has almost all the amenities but at the same time feels like home , well if you can call "home" a 400-years old wonderfully restored riad in the heart... More
