There is no other place I would choose to stay in Marrakech, full stop. The service, the experience, the location - everything is perfect! I believe luxury is measured by service and attention to detail and the Villa Des Orangers is one of the most luxurious hotels I have stayed in. The entire staff is warm, inviting, generous and so... I must admit when we pulled up in front of the hotel for the first time, I was a bit wary. After all, it is smack dab in the midst of the hustle & bustle of Marrakesh and on a rough-looking "working class" stretch of stores. Nothing about the outside neighborhood suggested the magnificence that was to be revealed as... More

We very much enjoyed our stay here. It was great to have this calm base to return to away from the busy pace just outside the entrance. Impressive how the sound of the street outside drops away and the scent of orange hits you as you cross the threshold. It's very handy for Jemaa el-Fnaa and the souks too. The... More

Although the restaurant looks a bit stiff and colonial the food is Very good. The value for price is good. We ate inside as there was no oppurtunity to eat at the inside of the riyad. That was a pitty.

Sometimes it is not just about the location (in this case perfect) or about the finishes (all luxury hotels are gorgeous by their very nature and this one is no exception). Sometimes it is only about the staff and how you are welcomed, treasured, pampered and cared for. And at Villa des Orangers the staff steal your heart - be... More

A 10 min walk to the square, staying here saves you a lot of hassle with cab drivers intent on making an extra buck off you. They have many tricks up their sleeves including saying that agreed price (no more than 20 dirhams normally) is per passenger, trying to divert you to their location instead of yours etc. Back to... Great service, great food, lovely room. We are finishing up our last night in morocco before heading home. Small boutique hotels are the way to go especially in morocco. It is an easy walk to the square and souq. Free laundry is nice.

A blissfully lovely place located in a fairly busy area near the medina. We started off with a delightful lunch poolside. Everything about this place radiates luxury and tranquility from the scented candles, to the softly lighted courtyard with a musician playing every evening, the beautiful pool, the warm gracious service. My recommendation to anyone is choose Room 1 where... More

We stayed for the most wonderful 5 nights in November 2014, having read all the wonderful reviews. I can honestly say that Villa Des Orangers lived up to every wonderful thing said about it. From the moment I first emailed regarding pick up, to the moment we left- it was sublime. The staff are amazing- nothing is too much trouble,... More

This must be my third or so review of the Villa. We keep going back, why stay anywhere else when everything is perfect there. The buildings and gardens are just so beautiful, immaculate, authentic, Moroccan! Outside the door it's a mad world, inside it's calm, peaceful, scented, private, luxurious, etc etc. All glorious! It is obviously extremely well run by... More
