We enjoyed three days in Marrakesh, travelling with teenage children. The location of the hotel was ideal, just a short walk to the Medina and Square, both of which were as expected chaotic, but a great experience. The hotel was delightful, staff charming and nothing too much to ask. Travelling to Morocco,we ensured we dressed in a 'culturally aware' way... More

The hotel is an old villa of Moroccan style built in the 1930s. The entrance is next to a car tyre shop but once inside it is a wonderful experience. There are many small courtyards and sitting rooms which are typical Moorish. The food is good and the service excellent. Laundary and lunch are included in the price. We had... More

Just got back from 5 nights stay in Marrakesh at Villa des Orangers and loved every minute of it. The staff were wonderfully attentive, and whether we were having breakfast, lunch or dinner the food was exceptional. Amazing room with private terrace which was so well furnished you didn't want to leave. We were recommended to stay here by friends... More

As other travellers have noticed, the door is the most unassuming thing imaginable. But once inside, what a contrast! There are a whole succession of rooms each with their own charm. We had Room 5 which is superb. It is on the top floor and gives very easy access to the pool. A lovely place to have breakfast; which the... More

This week end we have had the incredible privilege to discover La Villa des Orangers, a secret compound of aestheticism and breathtaking elegance at just a few steps of Jema Le Fna Square. From outside, nobody can imagine what is behind this beautiful Moroccan doors but at the second you penetrate into this property, you realize you're gonna experience one... More

A small riad style hotel, with very friendly staff and wonderful food. The breakfast and the lunch were included, as well as the laundry (!) and the pickup from the airport, so if the price was a little higher, it really felt like it was worth it. Incredible place, very charming!

Marrakech is wonderful but it can be too busy, chaotic and noisy. The Villa des Orangers offers a haven of tranquility. In addition to this, the staff are friendly and efficient, the food is good ( breakfast is excellent) and the decor is tasteful and understated. My only criticism is that lighting is poor in the room. excellent location.

We don't enjoy large hotels so this was perfect for us all the 5*luxuries we expect but in a small hotel excellent food lovely room with a roof terrace plenty of places to sit and relax with out being very close to other guests ( I like my own space) the staff could not have been more attentive without being... Across the road from one of the King's many palaces, and next to a garage and used tire shop where repairs are done on the street, the sign for the hotel was discreetly not visible unless you looked for it. Marakesh was our last stop after two weeks of adventure in the Rif and Atlas mountains and the deep Sahara... More

I had dinner there with some friends and the food was simply fantastic. The atmoshpere is very relaxed and pleasant, the place and the fornitures very elegant. Staff members are nice and professional, although there is some room for improvement... The price is not low (actually, it is quite expensive, with a limited list of - expensive - wines only). But...
