Together with our friends we stayed for 3 nights in La Villa des Orangers. Our rooms were really nice, a bit dark though, but the rooms were comfortable and the bathroom was huge and also nicely decorated. In the room there were stairs that lead to a private great terrace with an outdoor shower. La Villa des Orangers is a... More

Negative points: 1) The first night we arrived we asked the concierge to recommend a nice restaurant to eat in as we were very hungry, he recommended a place called Chez Chegrouni in the main square, the only thing good about it was the view over the square, other than that it was probably the worst restaurant I have ever... Simply top notch. Just pass the discrete entrance and you'll be transported in a paradisiac classy hotel. Location is perfect, allowing to easily reach for everything you may want to see in Marrakech by foot. Service is very professional, efficient and discrete. The best however is the amazing architecture of this riad with its multiple patios and exquisite decoration. The... More

Step through the doors of this wonderful old building and you will be transported to peace and tranquility. The smell of oranges lingers in the air, the sound of the traffic is just a memory. The staff and the setting are lovely, whether you want to relax around the gardens and the pool or run the gauntlet of Marrakech you... More

This place is simply superb. The service is exceptional. The staff are friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. All the little details had been thought through, from a box of tissues appearing when I sneezed, a bag of warm stones to keep the toast warm, immigration cards filled in for us on our departure, taxis... Great place in old Marakech's place near historical areas and near monuments. The hotel was amazing and i appreciated the atmosphere. I stayed there 3 nights. Comfortable room and kind and helpful people.

There is no other place I would choose to stay in Marrakech, full stop. The service, the experience, the location - everything is perfect! I believe luxury is measured by service and attention to detail and the Villa Des Orangers is one of the most luxurious hotels I have stayed in. The entire staff is warm, inviting, generous and so... I must admit when we pulled up in front of the hotel for the first time, I was a bit wary. After all, it is smack dab in the midst of the hustle & bustle of Marrakesh and on a rough-looking "working class" stretch of stores. Nothing about the outside neighborhood suggested the magnificence that was to be revealed as... More

We very much enjoyed our stay here. It was great to have this calm base to return to away from the busy pace just outside the entrance. Impressive how the sound of the street outside drops away and the scent of orange hits you as you cross the threshold. It's very handy for Jemaa el-Fnaa and the souks too. The... More

Although the restaurant looks a bit stiff and colonial the food is Very good. The value for price is good. We ate inside as there was no oppurtunity to eat at the inside of the riyad. That was a pitty.
