What more can be added or said that would highlite this hotel anymore than what other posters have already done. It's location in its self is perfect, and you would struggle to find this hotel without a taxi driver. Upon entering two large doors you enter another world of tranquility perfection and beauty. Then you are taken to your room ,the... More

Hidden behind very unassuming doors is a spectacularly beautiful hotel within minutes of the medina. The pool provides a tranquil respite from the hustle of the city. Despite its location, it is very quiet. We stayed in rooms 22 and 23 (traveling with my children), which resulted in our having a private raid, with a spacious living room, patio, and... More

Our first visit to Marrakech and our taxi from the airport stopped in an innocuous road close to a busy bus junction and pointed to an equally innocuous doorway. As we emerged from the taxi a well dressed and smiling doorman led us through the doorway into a cool gorgeous orange blossom smelling candlelit entrance to the main reception. Immediately... More

We were collected from the airport by one of the Villa's cars, which is just as well because it would have been difficult to find the entrance, between car repair and tyre shops on a side street 5 or 6 minutes walk from the Jemaa el Fna square. Once through the entrance you are into a genuine oasis of calm,... More

Like many buildings in Morocco, the outside is nothing but the inside magnificent. Des Orangers is on a busy street next to a small shop selling tires. And unless you spot the small sign, you could walk right by the front door and totally miss it. BUT, once inside you find an absolute gem of a place. The staff at... More

We recently spent four nights at this hotel and it was a wonderful experience. As we pullled up and saw the stack of tires next to the entrance(from the auto store next door) we wondered what we had reserved, but what a surprise. Walk though those doors and you are in a different world. Beautiful, quiet , gorgeous decoration and... More

This intimate hotel on the edge of the medina offers an oasis of tranquility and personal service. Don't be fooled by the modest street entrance, which is very low key- often the case in old towns. It unfolds beautifully as you move inward. Roses float in fountains, footfalls softened by local tribal rugs. The ambience is lush but local- my... More

We have just stayed here for 4 nights and can't fault it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is great. Recommend you try the traditional hammam and spa treatments. The star of the show is the hotel itself - beautiful rooms and courtyard spaces with lovely Moroccan architecture. There are 2 pools, one downstairs and one on the... More

We did not stay here but went for drinks and dinner. Passing through the tiny doors you are transported to an Oasis of calm. Water, orange trees, courtyards sheer delight. The food was of a very high quality as was the service. We certainly will go back

Romantic, wonderful buildings, big rooms and all mod cons. Not for those who struggle with mobility though. Very romantic - ask for the wonderful private dining space. All rooms are different and some 2 storey. The top suites have private roof terraces.
