I've stayed here over the years, and was very pleased on a recent visit to find it still comfortable and clean, with even nicer rooms than I recall. We had a compact double room with a large balcony and attached bath with shower, tub, toilet and good hot water. Though just off the famous Jemaa El Fna Square, the double... More

We stayed several times over the last 8 years in this hotel and tried a few other ones too. It changed for the better during this time. Last we stayed two days ago after returning from the Mt. M'goun area in the High Atlas. After 4 days in this very remote area with very little luxury (only cold showers) in... More

Went on a trip to the Atlas Mountains and stayed here before and after. We were a group of 19. The hotel were fab and held the luggage we didn't want to take to the mountains with us. We all stayed in rooms as we knew we would be tired and fighting over showers when we got back. I think... More

Stayed at Hotel Ali for a few nights at the beginning of a tour of Morocco. Our group slept out on the terrace but had a room between us in which to keep all of our rucksacks. The room was average, very small for the 3 single beds that were in it but a relatively modern and clean bathroom. The... More

I was there for one night last October and it's a very good price however rooms were small, location is the best for souk shopping and the common area between rooms was beautiful however breakfast lacked flavour and most of us abstained from eating it.

Hotel near el fna square with a nice view on the square from the roof. Bit noisy.good entrance to the shopping aria. Soeks are easy to come. Guides are easy to get. Look out for pickpockets, there are a lot of them. Also nice to visit are the tanneries where they prepare leather. Don,t do it on a hot day... More

This hotel is great for the price you pay. It is fairly authentic looking with the tiles and open court yard areas on some levels. The staff were helpful and the included breakfast was adequate. Probably best of all is the location which is right near the main square that comes alive at night with food vendors, snake charmers acrobats... More

Stayed at Hotel Ali when we arrived in Marrakech 1 night before our trek, & 2 nights before we flew back home. As always a friendly greeting, good breakfasts & 2 very good if quite basic rooms. Very good value for money. Will certainly stay again.

This is not for those who are used to Marriotts or Hiltons. It's for someone who will take a dose of funky over plush. Great location, near the Jemaa, (the center of Marrakech) with good rates and a delicious restaurant you will want to return to. Enjoy.

I stayed here with my school (not my choice) in a really good location in the middle of Marrakech. Very basic hotel, no shower curtain and stain on sheets. Depending on where you are in the hotel it can be quite noisy. Breakfast is basic, but there is somewhere where you can exchange money in the hotel.
