We had the most wonderful lunch here the atmosphere was awesome like something out of a bygone era. We started with bread , olives , nuts and fresh orange juice followed by 5 different salad bowls , traditional chicken pie , and then beef and chicken tagines this was followed by mint tea and fresh fruit. The service was impeccable... More

A true toilet of a hotel, which could be a goldmine with a bit of money spent on it, but it has great cold bottles of been in the fridge which are like hen's teeth i the medina and Kasbah. Don't let anyone fool you - beer and wine are expensive on hotels and restaurants in Morocco. This can be... More

Called in for a beer one busy day at the medina. the place was dark and out dated. But still the beer was cold and on a hot sunny day thats all i wanted. Just right off the square its one of the cheapest places for beer in the medina

A 5 minute walk down from the djerma el fna, (main square by the Souks) this hotel has changed little since I stayed here 30 years ago. It's still got a very 1950s feel, maybe earlier, you could almost expect Sam to be playing in Rich Bar... It's tired, it's old - but the staff are lovely, rooms clean and... More

My home in Marrakesh, this place comes with authentic charm and history. Be sure to talk them into showing you different rooms before deciding for one, room standard and differ radically from room to room, the rooms facing the backyard are in general bigger and incredible quiet. The reception is a great place to chat and watch people from all... More

We ate here on our last visit a few years ago. Since then it seems to have gone downhill. This time we had a 4 course meal with wine which came to about £25 per head. The food was very tasty and there was live music and a little belly dancing for entertainment. The whole place is a bit seedy... More

The bar area is a bit run down, but its a good place to sit down have a cheap beer (for Marrakech) and people watch, the drinks come with olives and popcorn and watch a bit of sport on the tv. The food in the restaurant was good if a bit over priced, on the night we were there they... More

The staff here have no problems lying and scamming people for a quick buck. Avoid at all costs. The food was moderate yet lacking in flavor and overpriced. We went in asking for a falafel lunch, and were greeted with cries of "of course we have falafel! Come in!" They pushed an $85 lunch on us without really asking, none... More

Run down pub/hotel near the Jemaa El Fna square, cheapish for beer, wine is 200 dirhams a bottle so not so cheap. Filled with prostitutes, local bad boys and tourists, its a good laugh though so don't let that put you off, the staff are lovely and the salted popcorn is to die for, all in all a good place... Popped in with my partner one evening after wandering around the medina and main square as we had read it served cheap drinks. They were certainly cheaper than most of the other places we had been. The actual place was very run down and looked like it might not have been decorated since it had been built. Very smoky bar... More
