The bar area is a bit run down, but its a good place to sit down have a cheap beer (for Marrakech) and people watch, the drinks come with olives and popcorn and watch a bit of sport on the tv. The food in the restaurant was good if a bit over priced, on the night we were there they... More

The staff here have no problems lying and scamming people for a quick buck. Avoid at all costs. The food was moderate yet lacking in flavor and overpriced. We went in asking for a falafel lunch, and were greeted with cries of "of course we have falafel! Come in!" They pushed an $85 lunch on us without really asking, none... More

Run down pub/hotel near the Jemaa El Fna square, cheapish for beer, wine is 200 dirhams a bottle so not so cheap. Filled with prostitutes, local bad boys and tourists, its a good laugh though so don't let that put you off, the staff are lovely and the salted popcorn is to die for, all in all a good place... Popped in with my partner one evening after wandering around the medina and main square as we had read it served cheap drinks. They were certainly cheaper than most of the other places we had been. The actual place was very run down and looked like it might not have been decorated since it had been built. Very smoky bar... More

Second time in Marrakech and love the Tazi as the only "bar in town". Populated by all westerners once they find it lol. Fab staff and service - great olives, popcorn this time instead of nuts (interesting) and good local wines. However be alert as Tazi's doors open onto the square and this may be where my passport went missing.... More

The Grand Hotel Tazi is not far from Jemaa Al Fna on Shara Zitoun Al Jadid. We only used to bar to have a few drinks in as few places serve alcohol in The Medina. The place is no doubt run down but an amazing place to people watch. Fascinating. The staff were very friendly towards us - Mohammed being... More

Got 'dropped off' here by a taxi driver from the airport, after a long day travelling, being excessively tired, I knew instantly it would be a one night job. Let me start with the room, dump is the only word to describe it. this hotel should be condemned. The aircon didn't work, had to ASK for someone to turn t... More

We checked in to this Hotel in Marrakech last June 14, 2014. We supposed to stay for at least 3 days. But just on our 1st day, problems started to come out.. Airconditioning system of the 2 rooms we checked in by me and my other friends ( 2 rooms per 2 persons) are not working properly. Absence of remote... More

the bar areas are quite run down and mainly young backpackers. The main restaurant is very large with low seats so a bit uncomfortable to sit on. They have a 3 course daily tourist menu for 140 dinars, but it is not wonderful. The beers are the cheapest in town at 25 dir but you only get 25cl, so all... More

Never ever pay for your room in advance. I paid the day before I left for a 3 day tour and when I returned to Marrakech I went straight to the hotel and took my room. The next day the owner and his manager, claimed that I had already stayed in the room the day i paid in advance and... More
