Riad Aloes is a traditional Riad within 7-8 min walking distance fm Jemaa El Fna. We stayed there for 4 nights. The good: -great proximity to Djammar el Fna -quiet location -generally clean The bad: -Once or twice we could not get in because the landlord was out and we were not given keys -The breakfast was poor unless we... Really well restored riad in the medina. Not luxurious or pretentious, just tastefully done and very comfortable. Air conditioning in the rooms helped as it is hot in august. The staff were very friendly, Mustafa took a genuine interest in us, and our stay in marrakech, always happy to give us advice, but most of all helped us really understand... More

The riad is situated in a great location, a quiet peaceful alleyway away from the hustle and noise of the Medina and is conveniently close to the souks and Jamaa el Fna square. The riad itself is decorated in traditional Moroccan style with a pool in the main courtyard and a small number of rooms above. Our room was spacious,... More

During our self organised tour through Morocco in June we started in Marrakech and booked a few nights in Riad Aloes due to the excellent reviews on various websites. We were welcomed by very friendly staff which was always helpful throughout our stay. The booked room was very spacious and interestingly decorated in Moroccon typical stay. The breakfasts on the... The staff here were extremely welcomimg and helpful. The Riad is situated in a great location just a few minutes from Jamaa el Fna. The room was beautifully decorated, the jacuzzi plunge pool is great to relax in after a day sight seeing and the terrace is a lovely place fro breakfast or for relaxing with a bottle of wine.... It is an authentic riad ('hotel') in the middle of the Medina. The room was perfect, and the jacuzzi very nice. We had our best breakfast ever, and really nice wine typical from Marrakech. Olivier was very helpful and kind, and he gave us the best mint tea I have tried. I highly reccomend Riad Aloes!

We stayed at Riad Aloes for four nights in March and it was fantastic. Olivier was really helpful in arranging our taxi from the airport, and we were met at the Riad by Abdul who helped us to book a restaurant which had been recommended by friends (Dar Yacout, absolutely incredible) and gave us information about the city, the must-see... Celebrating my very good friend 60th Birthday, we booked the complete hotel's 5 bedrooms for our party of five. "Olivier" the proprietor and his staff could NOT do enough for us. All five bedrooms where individually tastefully decorated and designed, to a very high standard. Breakfast in the sunshine on the roof terrace, was out of this world, which overlooked... More

Stayed with my mum at this Riad and couldn't have asked for more. We arranged a round-trip airport collection/drop-off for €30, a porter with a cart meets you at the city walls to take you to the Riad (very handy for first-timers in Marrakech, make sure you have change for tip, we gave 20 dhr=£1.70). Both journeys were reliable and... More
