Charming riad, hidden away - but just a few minutes walks - from the main square in the medina. A handful of rooms around a tiny courtyard, but with a lovely rooftop terrace. Riad Le J is an oasis of calm after a mad day in-and-around the medina. Breakfast and other hospitality is simple and unfussy, rooms are well-furnished, and... More

We stayed twice - first for one night, then (after a tour) for three more. Run by the amenable Antonio, it is different from the other riads we stayed in: a tasteful mix of Moroccan tradition and European influence. The staff are very friendly, the food excellent (if a tad expensive), and, of course, being in the heart of the... More

We stayed in the poivre suite and were impressed with the stylish elegance of the room and bathroom. The shared areas were also very well appointed and the terrace was lovely for relaxing. The Riad was tucked away in a very quiet little street so we were away from all the street noise. Communal breakfast with the other guests was... More

We stayed in this nice Riad in the center of the Marrackech Medina. The staff were superb, breakfasts were excellent. Location was terrific. The location allowed easy access to all local sights including the Djemaa el-Fna, the Medersa, the Medina (of course), the food, shopping, etc. We needed some laundry done, the kind staff did that for us as well.... What more could be said? Stayed 3 nights and then came back for a 4th, Splendid accommodations, location minutes away from Djemaa el-Fna, wander amongst the Souk, get lost in the sights and sounds of it all. The view from the roof is incredible and the morning coffee excellent. Sit by the warm fire and relax. The room was great... More

As an middle-aged couple, we stayed in this Riad for a couple of nights at the end of November 2014. The room was very nice. It was tastefully decorated (as was the riad) and clean and comfortable. The wifi in the room was 2-3 bars. We can't say what it would be like with other guests as we were the... More

We are a couple in our twenties from New York that traveled to Morocco for the first time during the first 2 weeks of November. We are seasoned travelers and found Riad Le J to be an absolute sanctuary in the heart of the medina in Marrakech. The riad was just beautiful; it held the charm of a Moroccan medina... More

I spent only one night at Riad le J recently, but really enjoyed it and was sorry to leave. It is a beautiful place, the owner and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Had a fantastic stay. Don't forget to try the terrrace on top, and enjoy the sun warming you up in the winter...!

We stayed for 2 nights. Every time the neighboring room went to the bathroom, took a shower, or had a chat in the restroom - we heard it in crisp detail. Their bathroom backed up against our headboard and the walls are paper thin (we were in the pepper room). Also be warned that for as cool as the bathtub... More

Dear Guest, we regret for the problems you reported. We try to improve every day and that's why such alerts are welcome. Regarding the noise it's the first time that a guest notifies us; we will check and we will try to to take measures about this. About the bath tub it's true that is big and that it takes... More

We have been absolutely stunned by design of this Italian-Maroccan Riad. Antonio is obviously a master of creativity and style. Otherwise, room was clean, breakfast delicious and staff very keen to help with all needs. Thanks! Zuzana&Pavol
