I do not know where to start with this review..... My wife and I went to Marrakech for a three day holiday, when we first arrived at the Riad the Manager (A middle aged French woman with blonde hair - I cannot remember her name) was most unwelcoming. I will list issues below... - The manager (lady mentioned above) treated... More

3 night stay in Marrakech was good thanks to this petit handy hotel. Great location, but be aware that riads are not your typical hotel, so don't expect your normal hotel. All staff were very pleasant and night porter Ali was a decent kid with good English

Pros: Quiet and clean traditional riad. Cleaning and breakfast staff was kind and helpful. Near the main square and the souks. Cons: Manager was very rude to us and to staff. She demanded cash payment in full on the second day of our 8 day visit (although credit cards were supposed to be OK) because their credit card machine was... More

This Riad is a gem in the Marrakech medina! It is located just inside the medina about 4 minutes walking distance from Jemaa al Fna. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful yet within sight of the square from the cozy terrace (breakfast is served on the terrace depending on which room you occupy). The facilities are immaculate, the place is... More

it's a nice traditional riad, not too fancy but really cozy and the staff is excellent. The Jemaa el fna suite is perfect for a couple, and not too expensive. Some extra points for breakfast, location and that roof terrace from where you can see the Jemaa el fna square ( lovely place to eat or drink Rashida's tea )

Mohammed and his team (incl. Ali the night manager) went out of their way to make us feel at home in their Riad. They found medicine for my sick daughter and offered solicitous care and attention. Breakfast on the roof terrace was more than ample, freshly prepared and delicious omelettes too. Rooms were excellent - comfy and even bathrobes. Very... More

Lovely traditional riad, close enough to the main square that you knew how to get back but was peaceful and quiet. We were welcomed with tea and some lovely little treats :) The staff went above and beyond when we left some personal items behind. Would definitely stay there again!

I stayed here with a friend - we got ourselves a room each and it was a brilliant place, excellent location!! The staff were extreamly attentive, friendly and accomodating. The roof terrace was a brilliant place to visit overlooking the square. Dinner at the venue was one of the best we had in Marrakech and I would highly recommend having... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2013

We stayed from 6 to 8 of December 2013. The location is amazing and we found the staff and management to be very kind and helpful. Our room was nice, although the glass doors don't allow much privacy. We had no hot water and the wifi doesn't work in our room (Suite Le Rubis). Paper thin walls (I guess it's... More

My wife and I have just spent 4 nights in the Riad Le Rubis on our first visit to Marrakech. We had a wonderful stay there and from the moment we arrived we were treated like family starting with a traditional welcoming drink of tea with savoury pastries. Hajar the day manager was lovely and spoke very good English as... More
