We stayed at the Hotel for 2 nights, and everything went wrong from beginning to end: they put us in the wrong riad, it took them an hour to take us to the riad riad (2 doors down), whenever we would ask for something, the order would either come incomplete, or never come. Some of my friends waited for an... More

I did not stay at the hotel, but I did play the golf course, on a recommendation from the Moroccan driver that we hired for the week's stay. He had previously taken us to Royal Marrakech and Samanah golf clubs, and asked why we had not tried Al Maaden. He said that he had taken other golfers there in the... More

To be honest the travel distance from the hotel to the main parts i.e. the markets is not a massive problem. You can organise taxi's and don't pay the driver any more than 100 MAD (9 Euro) and make sure you argue the price before you get in the cab. Also from the airport too. Don't pay anymore than 100... Al Maaden is a series of beautiful houses set on a golf course. The resort is very tasteful with mature gardens. Our unit had a private pool, large sitting room, dining room, two bedrooms, private garden, several terraces. It's a few km southeast of Marrakech so you need a car. Our boys did not want to leave the pool. Bathrooms... More

I spent hours to find it because no indications were on the road for the project. I was keep on calling the reception number but no one of course answers. The villa was good but for the price we paid I though it was another level. It's far from everything. Very cold water on the pool, they could have warm... More

We stayed at Al Maaden for 6 nights last week (26 Aug-1 Sept). We have all had a fabulous time. My husband, children ( 3 children 13yrs, 9yrs and 18 months) and I didn't want to come back. We arranged transfers through the hotel and the people carrier was at the airport on time with a very comfortable journey to... More

Far from Five Star Food rubbish General Manager shies away from trouble for his own convenience. I was disgusted in his behaviour when he clearly knew I was having issues at the hotel, he did not even have the courtesy to approach me to solve the issues I had, but left it to his staff to lie and make up... We only played golf and didn't stay. even so, I'm not sure which course a previous reviewer had visited but today's round was, for my husband and I, the highlight of our 4 rounds in Marrakech. From the proper choice (not made for youvas at many courses) of caddy, buggy or trolley, to the good advice from the caddy-master to... More

imagine a flat, semi green surface with a lot of brown flecks, little variation, no hazards, even no water hazards, except for a couple of enormous water reservoirs in the middle of the fairways, surrounded by numerous uncompleted buildings with silent cranes, (due to the crisis?..), that's the golf of Al Maaden. It could be that the rooms in the... More
