We stayed at the Riad Africa a few weeks ago and I honestly cannot sing it's praises highly enough. From the moment we were (miraculously) greeted by a friendly man when we got out of our taxi to take our bags to the Riad (I still have no idea how he knew who we were!) to the time that we... More

Been on holiday with my mother, stayed in Riad Africa. The people were so friendly, the food was very good and the view superb. This is the only Riad I want to stay if I travel to Marrakech again! Thanks for the wonderful stay guys.

This riad is in a brilliant location within the medina and was easy to find using google maps. It is a nice and comfortable place...but, for the money they charge i expect it to be much better. It is a bit worn and tired. Hot water seems to be an issue. Sometimes we had it...sometimes not. No plughole drained well... More

Thank you for your review. We are very disappointed that despite providing you with a free room upgrade to our Lalibela family suite you felt that £90 a night for your family was too much for the overal facilities and service we provided. May I point out that you stayed in the peak month of April and we feel, compared... More

We are a family of four, which included two teenagers. This was our first trip to Morroco and whilst a little apprehensive over what to expect, be it, the standard of the Riad, would it be 'too' authentic or the souks and medina be too intimidating. We found the city to be authentic but in a pleasant way, yes the... More

I recently stayed here as part of a group of 19 on a hen weekend and it was perfect. Centrally located within the medina walls and close to the markets, souks and other sights. With traditional Moroccan feel and decor but most of all fantastic hospitality from Mohammed, Ali and Aziz, they made us feel so at home. We were... More

My best friend and I visited the Riad Africa for 5 nights last month. It was the first time either of us had visited Marrakech or even Morocco, so we were a little nervous, but we had an amazing time. The riad was indeed an oasis of calm in the midst of the madness that is Marrakech! After the first... More

This was our first visit to Morocco and we wondered what it would be like. We had booked a week at the Riad Africa and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We received a warm welcome from Mohamed and his staff and particularly liked the friendly atmosphere and interesting, informative conversation shared with them. The Riad is situated in a quiet location,... More

We spent a week at Riad Africa, and loved the homely atmosphere and especially the friendly staff who gave us lots of information about Marakesh and Berber ways of life, and were always so willing to help. The food was excellent, only matched by a Berber restaurant in the lower Atlas mountains. Its a great place to stay.
