I have stayed in many hostels and this place has such a great, chilled atmosphere like nowhere I've stayed before. On arrival you're given mint tea and biscuits (they give you unlimited shisha and tea- it's so lovely!) and almost at once I felt at home and relaxed. There's always music playing downstairs and everyone hangs out either there or... More

For the duration of my time spent in this hostel i felt like i was at home. Beautiful staff, hand on foot service 24 hours round the clock and unlimited shisha. Simply sublime. In 200 characters it would be impossible to describe the impact that characters i had the fortune to meet at this hostel will continue to have on... More

Pros - AMAZING place, great staff and fun environment! Cons - No air conditioning in the rooms (too hot and unbearable in the summer) and place is hard to find. If you can get over the cons, you are in for quite an experience. One of the best hostels, hands down!!! Thank you Hussain :)

This place had such a good atmosphere. There was always music playing in the cosy lounge and moroccon tea and sisha were for free! We were with quite a big group of students but it was never a problem. I've even slept some nights at the rooftop under the stars after long nights with other hostelguests and some of the... More

I stayed at Waka Waka last week with a group of 40 people. We had so much fun staying here, as the employees are all very helpful and fun. The rooms are good, there is a nice common room where you can eat and relax and the bathrooms are fine too. The rooftop terrasse is a great place to relax... More

The hostel had a warm atmosphere with plenty of common spaces for travelers to share their stories. The staff were wonderfully friendly and made you feel welcomed from the instant you arrive. If travelling with friends, best to book out a whole room as the they are fairly small. Make sure to bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper!... More

We loved this place. Very sociable, friendly welcome, happy atmosphere, we were treated very well, brilliant owner. Great roof garden. When we moved on (around Marrakech) we would actually come back to visit Waka Waka often because we were made to feel so at home!

Great location and it is cheap. But there is nothing special about it. Bathrooms are quite shabby, dorm beds are really hard (feels like sleeping on wood). Atmosphere and breakfast is nice. But there are no lockers for your valuables!

it was an experience we will never forget! Decorations, ambiance and tea waka waka one receives is the total Moroccan hospitality. We took advantage of the terrace to enjoy some sun and lounge in the shade. We always feel like home and we always greeted with a smile for Personal very nice. It was our first choice of the hostel and we never regreted it.It is a perfect hostel for the large groups and backpackers and good value for the money you pay. It is in a good location, close to the Jemaa el Fna - main square and souks as well as to the new part of the city, everything can... More
