I chose Waka Waka due to its proximity to the main square, souks and hammams. I booked it for one night initially and ended up staying a whole week. The first thing you will notice is the amazing colourful decoration with natural light cascading in. You are served tea on arrival and unlimited top ups throughout the day. There is... More

I really liked the atmosphere of Morocco in this simple hostel. Service is very friendly. Wi fi is good. They also provide package tours to the desert. The hostel is located in the heart of Marrakech. And I love the tea this hostel provided.

I miss my Waka Waka family!!! Such generous and fun hosts. I was a solo female traveller and had a perfectly wonderful experience. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Bring earplugs (in every hostel), but noise varies with guests. Good times, homemade breakfast and dinner parties, great people.

Good location, amazing people and awesome hospitality, highly recommended to all fellow travelers. The hostel has an amazing vibe for meeting people, staff are the most accommodating, there's plenty of room to have some quiet time.

This hostel has an awesome vibe about it and the price to atmosphere ratio is almost incredible :) It is not that hard to find at all and the directions are amazing. Staff is friendly, cheerfull and the lounge area on the roof or even inside is great for meeting fellow travelers :) They cleaned the hostel every single day... More

I spent two nights at this hostel and will definitely be going back for more! We booked online, so it was only 40MAD per night (€4) and was such a great place. It is all decked out in cool Moroccan décor, and the rooftop terrace is really relaxed. There are no windows in the rooms so it gets quite hot... More

I spent 5 nights in this hostel, and enjoyed every single one of them. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and works long and hard hours. They have only three bathrooms (with toilet and shower), but somehow I never had to wait long to use one. Everything (kitchen, bathrooms, common areas) was kept very very clean, which is a huge... The hostel was quite hard to find, tucked away deep in the old market section and poorly signed. The staff were friendly though there was only one main area downstairs that had wifi and a place to chill. Unfortunately with such a small area the noise from the tv clashes with the music which clashes with the conversation and makes... More

I stayed at waka waka for two nights, with a three day visit to the Sahara in-between. This hostel exceeded my expectations beyond belief it was by far the most comfortable and hospitable hostel I have stayed in. The manager and staff were incredible host and treated us as if we were guest in their own house with constant mint... More

We got back from the sahara and came to Waka Waka for two nights, and it was such a delightful stay. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was amazing and above all it was clean. The staff are very relaxed, on point with mint tea and lovers of shisha. Couldn't have had a better time here and met so... More
