The service in this hotel is outstanding. When we arrived we were greeted by Moroccan tea, heaven after a long journey from London. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with beds I could sleep in forever. We met the hotel owner who took time to sit and speak with us and obviously has great passion for his hotel. The hotel arranged... More

Riad Viva is like an oasis in the Fantasy land! Exceptional decoration as if taken from a museum of Moorish architecture. Impeccable cleanness and service. Amazing rooftop terrace overlooking the most beautiful private gardens in Marrakech Medina (the courtyard of Mamounia hotel) and with even better location for views and sounds from these gardens than Mamounia hotel itself! Imagine the... More

I went to Marakech with a couple of girlfriends for a quick city break recently and loved it! It is an amazing city and an assault on all the senses (especially if you go to The Tanneries!) but what made our stay so special was coming back to Riad Viva at the end of the day - a complete oasis... We spent 3 nights in Riad Viva and liked it very much. Our room was a bit small, but nicely decorated and absolutely clean. The breakfast on the roof terrace is lovely prepared and gives you a great and relaxing start in the day overlooking the roofs of Marrakech. There is some laying chairs on the roof as well as... Riad Viva is a beautiful Riad set close to the centre of old Marrakech. The rooms are stunning the setting is peaceful and the roof terrace comfortable and hot, but what makes this such a great place to stay of the staff. Aziza welcomes you and keeps a friendly eye to make sure everything is done to make your stay... More

Rashid and the team provided attentive and friendly personal service in a well-appointed but traditional setting. They gave us, as vegetarians, a lovely variety of food, including an excellent and beautifully presented dinner. From the friendly welcome on arrival, Rashid and everyone else at the Riad gave us attentive and personal service throughout our stay. The Riad followed the attractive,... More

The staff were lovely and gracious people. Room decor was absolutely beautiful and very warm, cozy and inviting. One should not miss the chance to have breakfast and dinner on the rooftop terrace. Had the best dinner in Morocco here. This is a no-miss place to stay and we would return again for a longer stay.

This was a wonderful Riad. We stayed here for two nights as part of our honeymoon, and my wife loved it. From before we arrived, I requested that the Riad make my room special, as it was for my honeymoon, and so they laid a beautiful petal pattern spelling out my wife's name in a heart shape on the bed... From the moment we arrived the staff at Riad Viva couldn't do enough. We booked the trip for our daughter's 21st birthday and we were treated royally. The Riad tucked away in the winding streets of the medina, was perfect, an oasis of calm from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was... More

Just returned from a 3 night break. Riad Viva is a welcome peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the main Medinas. Fabulous staff, very weloming. We would highly reccommend the evening meal, fresh, delicious food. We had a massage in our suite which was the most relaxing experience ever, if you want the full Hammam massage you... More
